the Perfect MM build Elite skill
What is the perfecct elite skill for a MM for sorrows furnace farming? I guess it will depend on your profession, but I'd just like to know your opinions.
I've tried
Glyph of renewal
Tainted
Offering of Blood
Life Transfer (I was actually kicked by someone who I told this skill was my elite)
Any other suggestions? It doesn't seem that there is a "perfect" one out there, jsut personal preference.

Ive went with 0 elites.. you don't need them to be good and I think OoB would help the most unless you are 100% fiends in that case renewal.. I go n/Me with 3 energy manage skills and I am 100% fiends I seem to do fine.

As far as that goes, summoning nothing but Horrors/Minions can cause body block issues... [gah*]
So 25% Minions [which is easy with 2 per corpse] and 75% fiends might work...
My former elite was Glyph of Power [yay for 5e. Minions/fiends] but now with Factions, I'd easily consider Flesh Golem.
That bastard is lvl 24 at 16 d. magic. Give me a backup that's higher level then normally possible any day...

zero elites
I have considered zero elites , but it seems like such a waste not having one. But just maybe no elite is the way to go.

I thought glyph of power is only good for elemental skills. I'll have to check it out.

I do some SF farming with my monk but I have a Nec that is almost done the game and I figured I would do a few runs as a MM in SF.
What is the build that most MM use? My charactor is N/Mo but I have been thinking of switching to N/Me, should I switch?
Thanks.

Tainted Flesh, Grenth's Balance, or Virulence, although I do agree with Bernie M and .killjoy that a MM doesn't really need to carry an elite.

meh, there really are no good elites to take for mm. only exception might be OoB or maybe a glyph if you're going n/e, and even its nothing amazing. there are just better utility spells to take than the elite options. taking a blood/curses elite forces you to put points into blood/curses which could otherwise go elsewhere, and the death elites are decidedly unimpressive.
dont feel obligated to take an elite, just be thankful bone fiends arent elite...they're certainly more powerful than alot of elite spells...

I play MM alot and i always bring glyph of renewal. The renewal/verata's sacrifice combo is just amazing for sustaining minions...along with glyph of lesser energy for added energy management. Free horrors FTW! IMO glyph of renewal is an MM's best choice

Yeah I agree with none. You shouldn't need OoB for energy you should be fine I know I am always fine on energy. But it is kinda cool to have AotL sometimes because veretas only sacrifices around 18 health.

well, the thing about going N/E is that it leaves you with only BotM for a secondary heal (with more saccing) and no effective self heal. It's doable, but many people find N/R or N/Mo just as effective, and these builds dont really need any elite.
AotL helps with saccing, but any healing spell, even blood renewal, can handle that. AotL also leaves you quite vulnerable to degen.
Virulence seems pointless in PVE, especially since you're probably not dealing any conditions.
Greneth's is risky, and requires a situation (being very low in health) that you should not be in too often as a MM
Tainted can be useful, but only really worth it if you have a warrior doing something like the sf gear trick. If all attacks arent focused on one party member its probably not worth the effort.
Remember, minions are your focus. If you're taking time away from creating, maintaining, and buffing your minions it better be for something pretty darn effective and important.
