the simple fact that this doesnt do lightning dmg just irks me so much. Long recharge time too, for not following the primary element of an air build.

Well if you think about it, whirlwinds don't have anything to do with lighting.

Hmm... this skill has a recharge of 10 sec, work perfectly with aftershock.
(when did they change it? I never noticed it until recently)

This skill doesn't synergise well at all with aftershock.
This skills is air magic aftershock is earth magic. You are not gonna have enough points to put into str, tactics, mastery, airmagic and earthmagic. Too many attributes to fuel.

you put 0 in air and 10+in earth. whirlwind is there just for the kd, aftershock for the dmg

Question: say you're solo-ing as an ele, and you purposefully get surrounded by like 5 melee monsters (trolls, ettins, minos, griffs, etc.). If you use whirlwind (or it's factions duplicate), how often do they all get knocked down? Does the "while attacking" clause cause only 1 or 2 to hit the dirt, or is it frequent that they all will? Just dreaming of builds....

Be that as it may but how how do you plan to use this as a warrior. 10 energy for whirlwind then another 10 for aftershock and you are drained of energy.
Why not just use earthshaker+aftershock instead? Same effect and earthshaker is not dependant on anyone attacking.
I guess you could do ele/war for better results.. but still..
