Power Shot Vs Punishing Shot
If im not wrong, the main purpose of spiking is to deal fast+crazy dmg so that healing is sort of neutralized in a way.
Consider this..Punishing Shot is an Elite just cos it interrupts
I would rather put in Power Shot so that i can put in another Elite cos it deals more dmg and has lesser recharge time. Furthermore..its not an Elite skill...
What do u guys think?

The whole point of ranger spike is that you fire a main attack and follow it with an interrupt. These two attacks, when buffed by orders, deal a significant amount of damage in a small amount of time (the spike.)
Generally ranger spike builds have to consist of one main attack.
e.g:
dual shot (if buffed by orders), Penetrating attack (ive seen with JI)
and a follow up interrupt
e.g:
Punishing Shot, Savage Shot
The fact that interrupts are unaffected by the normal attack ing speed of rangers is what makes the build possible. All in all Ranger Spike is still one of the quickest spikes about.

exactly. The main point about the spike is. How fast you can get those arrows in on your target.
Because if the spike went dual + penetrating + power
that's a lot of time needed. especially between shots.
Better to go dual +punishing imo

Power Shot is a bad choice regardless. It is outshined by other bow attacks that cost the same.

Recharge time should not be one of the factors in choosing your spike skill. You only need to use a skill once per spike. And the reason for putting in the interrupt is that it anchors your spike in case the target somehow might be able to save himself/herself (for example a monk with impeccable timing).

No, the interrupt is used to get the arrow released as fast as possible. For spike, the interrupting ability of the attack is just a nice perk. Dual + Punishing gets 3 arrows on the target in a total timespan of about 3/4 of a second. That's a very quick spike, so quick that a monk likely can't react.

Is a second interrupt worth tacking on to the end? I know there is a delay before the second interrupt can be used, but is it short enough that you could take out a target's last remaining health before someone could heal him?

A good infuser might get on that too fast for it to be effective, but an entire orders-buffed team with that extra bit might be good. I'm not farmiliar with ranger spike, personally.
Semi-related: Would Tiger's Fury, Flurry, Lightning Reflexes, or Frenzy decrease the delay between using these skills and another, or is it an absolute value?

the delay is absolute. nothing will change that.
be careful though, the interrupting delay is also a very good self-snare. that's why there's rarely an interrupter ranger in gvg.

Punishing Shot shoots like Distracting shot. Only 1/2 shooting time. Very quick and very damaging. The shooting speed is so fast to the point that monks can't heal in time. That's the idea behind it.
Power Shot does good dmg but I think you can use Penetrating shot instead with 3s less recharge time.

Of course no one mentioned that fact that when most people get spiked and don't die from it the first thing they look to do is heal. Hence punishing shot not only putting in an extra fast dmg spike it will also interupt those trying to heal right away. Savage shot never gets hit unless somehow they still aren't dead. Then they most definitely will cast something and you need to interupt it. Ranger spike is a beautiful thing!

What I think is, power is good at the start when you get it (pre-searing). But when I have more skills unlocked, I'll drop away.

Power Shot is so useless in comparison to the other skills.
In ranger spike i do see random variety of Punishing Shots and Savage Shots hitting me at the same time during Ranger Spike, most likely because they either used Punishing before the spike and its recharging, or they're using another elite.
Tbh though if your spike team actually needs to fire a 3rd barrage of arrows towards a target, you've probably failed miserably in killing it by that time anyway.
Side note: Ranger spike f*cking hurts!!!
