My first character in the game a W/Mo is trying to do quests/missions in the Northern Shiverpeaks area. My enchantments like mending, live vicariously, etyc are constantly shattered in this area. The second I put it up its shattered again. So from this point on am I ever going to be able to use enchantments in the game?

Being only lvl 13 I dont have that many healing options right now. Orison of healing does pathetic amount of healing. Healing signet takes forever to heal.

I am having a hard time doing any quests with henchies. The first big group of Stone Summit outside Yak's Bend wipes us out. Could someone tell me what changes I could make to my build? Usually I take:

Penetrating Blow
Dismember
Cyclone Axe
Remove Hex
Orison of Healing
Healing Signet
Live Vicariously
Resurrect

Some areas have enchantment strippers and others do not or they are not as common so you just have to adapt to the area you are in. Healing signet is often your best choice and with it not being a spell it is harder for mesmers to interrupt it.

The henchies can be a little weak there so team up with others or join a guild if you can. Check us out if interested.

Actually this is a little funny since we have a guildie with a level 13 ranger that is asking for help on our forum for this area as well.
