need help on r/e build
hi, i just made a new ranger/ele build using a fiery bow string, conjure flame, kindle arrow and dual shot combination and i was wondering what kind of elite i should use? thanks.

Since you're using conjure, Barrage works well. Quick shot/punishing shot dualed with Dual shot are neat as well. All depends on if you want to focus you're damage, or spread it out. I'd take barrage.

depends what you're looking for.
I usually play a r/e with conjure flame + melandru's arrows for the elite. Great pressure build agaist enchanted foes and non enchanted foes. Btw unless your holding halls I wouldn't bother taking barrage for pvp. Just imo. Works great in pve though. I wouldn't bother conjure flame + kindle arrows. You can almost do the same ammount of damage with fw and not spread out your attrib points. I also don't like dual shot very much. I'd go with penetrating. |

The thing with Dual shot + Punish/Quick is that it is three arrows for two shots, meaning you're getting 3x the Conjure bonus and any other Prep he should be using (RtW would be excellent, as would kindle to make damage output higher).
To OP, as you never specified, I assumed you meant PvE. PvP it's a different set of Rules. PvP ranger, I wouldn't even bother with your secondary. I'd take Cripple Shot or Punishing Shot as my elite. |
