Regarding damage, I'd say that it depends on what you're hitting. Soft targets will take more damage from hundred blades since their armor doesn't reduce as much of the damage, but hitting warriors I think you'd end up doing more damage using Triple Chop by virtue of the damage mod.
I wouldn't call the adrenaline bonus of hundred blades that special, though--there are other skills which do the job that also don't take up an elite.

sword needs a good elite, one that requires like 6 adrenaline, and that deals some nice damage, not one that is not worth getting...

Just imagine how easy farming ettins and trolls will be once we get Triple Chop . Sure we'll be out of eviscerate but there's bound to be more spiking skills to come out to replace it...

You'll only be out of Eviscerate if you don't link Factions to your Prophecies account.

I don't know why this discussion is still going on. How many axe warriors do you know that use an elite other than Eviscerate for PVP? Now, out of those, how many of those players are GOOD? Very few. If swords had an elite that was too good to pass up, the already limited use of Strength or Tactics elites would decline heavily. As it is, a sword warrior can use "Charge!" and not be at much of a disadvantage for not taking a sword elite. An axe warrior would be much less effective if he did that. Swordsmanship isn't about elites, it's about the tremendously good regular skills that you have. HB is a good elite for pvp to charge up adrenaline, which is nice because of the excellent new sword skills out there. I'm fairly certain sword warriors can now spike as effectively as axe. So stop your bitchin'!

Would someone actually post the skill description? I didn't get to play Factions cause the comp was down.
