i know that oro famring i possibly the easiest thign ever but i was htinking, im always ending up with a bunch of empty skill slots and i was thinking maybe if you wore glads armor oyu could possibly bring a AoE smite spell, would the mosters run away and stop attacking you even with the gear, and if not would it be possible to keep it up without having problems wiht your stances..

Most Stance tanks use a W/Mo as they like some self heal. So if you went with that you could use Symbol of Wrath. But I am pretty sure they would still run from the AoE then see your gear, run back in, get scared and back out again. Like the normally do :P

In Oro farming some groups take an Echo nuker. Although they dont really make the grade as SS Necro's seem to be better. Even with the Nuking going the groups scatter from you. So its probably going to be the same.

If you have 2 or 3 free slots you could put up Zealots fire and have Reversal of Fortune and Guardian. Use tis ever 2 or 3 seconds and you have a nice little AoE. If you use to frequently then you will et an AoE scatter. But if you use just at the right timing its a nice ittle thing to do.

or...u coulduse SoJ. i think i used it before and it did pretty nice, what i do now is bring bonetti's, glads deffence, earthquake,aftershock and that signet that saves u energy..i forgot the name, i forgot the rest of my build but thats basically it, earthquake and aftershck...mostly aftershock since they allmost allways block my earthquake unless u have diciplined stanceon or something to avoid getting interrupted :P

SoJ would work nicely. You could swap for Glads Defence and it woukd hit Rangers and caster aswell. I think many of the Oro farmers would curse you for using it as they are used to the good old Stancers.

If you are using Glyph of Renewal (I think its the one you mean) Thats an elite is it not? So SoJ would be out of the question. Or if you mean Glyph of Energy (I also forget)... Then that would be work.

SoJ is a nice one I hadnt thought of that. Would need a nice +20% enchant though to make it last longer.

thx guyz i think might try to cap SoJ and then just stick up a stanc ewhen its over...........u siad 20% longer...im wonderign, do u get the bonuses form ur weapons while ur holding gear? if u dont know ill but on an HP mod and get bakc to u on that.......ill try this out wiht my guild os i dont get any pesky peskers pesking at me

actually, i think SoJ is going to slow down kills for your team. SoJ = knockdown = less attacks = SS less effective.

what do u guys think of this, i use it sometimes for my w/mo when I need to carry a book (fow) or a keg/gear simply because i dont like standing in the middle of a group enemies only using stances, i also want to deal a little dmg so i dont get bored

ur choice (I use whatch urself, u could use rebirth or a interrupter)

15 tactics
12 smitting prayers
leftover in swordmanship or strenght

i know soj it bad with an ss'er in ur group, but on with nukers in ur team it's great (fow). but dont use soj while ur in a stance.

retribution wont work cause the bonds will reduce the dmg u take so much that 33% of that is like 1 dmg, and u cant use ripostes without sword (ur holding someting)

Noob question here:

Maybe I'm a little behind on the lingo but what is oro? And what is a good build of a stance tank because I use the following for other areas:

Glads D
Bonettis D
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Dolly Sig

Shield Stance
Sprint
Healing Sig

I dont know the attributes off the back of my head (im in my 2nd period class at school thats what I do on my free time here for now)

Oh and plz feel free to chew me out and call me a noob for the Q but with the insults provide awnser plz thx.
