Bomb's Guide to Weapon Customization - Money exploitation
1. When you get a weapon, bring it to the weapons guy and customize it for the affordable price of 10 gold and he will customize it, giving you +20% damage all the time. Get it? Paying 10 gold is better than spending millions on that "godly" axe or sword you want. What I did was buy a victo's battle axe (which is +15%>50) and customize it. That cost me 25k and 10 gold, and when my health is above 50 I'm doing +35% damage. So for 25k, you can get an axe that is BETTER than the ridiculously overpriced weapons people sell.
2. See step #1
Hope you enoyed this thread, any constructive criticism is welcome.

Constructive criticism:
1. Sundering sucks; waste of your 10g to customize Victo's Battle Axe.
2. Why not buy a "godly" weapon then customize it? There is no rule against that.

Some people don't have the large amounts of money for "godly" weapons. Or if they do, they have better things to spend it on.

Then you just get Drok's crafter weapons, collector weapons, or one of the few serviceable green weapons. Crafter items run at about 7.5k, including materials; collector items cost around 1-2k. There are very few good green warrior weapons; Victo's Blade goes for around 15k or less right now, although if price had anything to do with function it'd be worth many times that. Victo's Battle Axe on the other hand sucks and isn't worth close to the 25k it goes for right now. Vampiric > Sundering. Furious is okay but I'd generally take Zealous or elemental over it.
"Godly" weapons are merely weapons with rare or nice-looking skins that sell for a lot. Nobody said you had to have them or that they weren't functional anyway. After you get Drok's armor and a crafter/collector weapon there isn't a whole lot you need to spend gold on anyway.

Agree with Savio.
Basically after you get the armor you want (no matter the 1.5k, 15k, or FoW), there aren't many things you need to buy. Most probably you will start playing with dyes on your armor.
So just craft a Droknar's weapon or get collector's weapon. After you have saved enough money, get the skin you love the most. You may also try to buy weapons with non-perfect or nearly-perfect mods and then customize it(like 14^50). But I would prefer crafting the Droknar's one and start saving.

If you customize something to be on par with a "godly" weapon, they could customize it so it surpasses it -.-, plain and simple.

Ummm... in response to the above^ I think the point of this thread was saying the (relatively) known fact that collectrs weapon's are as powerful and much cheaper than gold drops. IMO the point of getting gold drops is because of the skin, and perhaps the mods. Otherwise your money would be better spent on a collector's weapon.

I thought I'd point out that a weapon can be 'godly' without being expensive. Good examples are Cleavers and Gladius skins. But even then, you can easily find a decent skined weapon with very good stats for under 25k... It's just a matter of knowing where to look. I spent 10k on my +15% -5 energy spatha and I got my +15^50 Feathered Longbow for 15k. Finding mod's isn't really that difficult either.
The only way you're going to spend unreal amounts of gold on anything is if it's one of the very rare skins. Of course you're gonna spend a huge amount on that req 9 15^50 Chaos Axe....
