Did anyone get a chance to try this one out? Does it actually only affect attacks made by the person who cast it, or does the target lose the ability to block and evade anyones attacks?

The skill description makes it seem like only the caster is unaffected by blocking/evading, but skill descriptions have been wrong on points like this before. *cough* Dark Fury *cough*

Similar to Rigor Mortis.

Yes, but a personal rigor mortis. It doesn't influence anyone else's ability to hit that target- only the caster's.

It's a hex not an enchantment. It should be benefitting your allies also.

Nope, it's just for your own attacks. While Your can be plural, there'd be no need for it in this context, and they have never used it in this context in other skill descriptions.

Then it would be an enchantment since it would only affect your attacks.

We can sit here debating semantics until Factions comes out. I had hoped someone had actually tested the skill out and knew for sure :-/

As for it being a hex vs an enchantment, consider a hex like Life Siphon, you cast it on someone, and only you get the benefit from it. This, along with some of the new hexes like Siphon Speed, means that just being a hex doesn't mean it has to affect your allies, there is a game mechanic in place that supports hexes affecting both caster and target.

Also, you can't go by the skills wording, as it could simply be written wrong like Dark Fury. This is why I was hoping someone had actually tested the skill out during one of the preview weekends.

Life Transfer, Ether Lord, etc. are Hexes that only benefit the caster.
