how do you survive?
Necros really don't have much of a self heal. And they have no evading/block stances.
So how do they heal themselves and keep out of harms way?
I tried a necromancer and quickly quickly died. I was so used to just using stormchaser to kite away or throw on a quick stance when I'm under heavier pressure.
But with this.. I didn't know what to do.
I used Sof on the two warriors attacking me and put SS on one.
That still didn't save me. They decided to fight through it and I died fast.
I also put parasitic bond as a cover hex. But it took to long for me to get my health out of that.
There also was no monk. And spamming vamp gaze is not nearly enough healing plus you run out of energy fast.
Life transfer is meh. To long of a recharge.
Life siphon is pretty good. But that's only +3 health regen.
I can kite decently so evading one warrior isn't to much of a problem. Sure I'll get whacked but not near as much as if I would have just stood there.
But when two warriors or more jump on me I'm dead. With my ranger I would just throw on whirling defense/ stormchaser and kite. Luckily most warriors don't bring wild blow.
It would be nice to know. Thanks.

Stay out of harms way, spam Parasitic Bond and use Enfeeble/Insideous Parasite on the first thing that comes your way.

Try blood renewal, P Bond and Insidious. Also, stay off the front line; you're a caster, not a tank.

I assume this is for Random Arenas. If you're Blood Nuking, going 1v1 with most anyone, especially warriors, is rather easy. If you mix in some Curses, i.e. Enfeeble + Faintheartedness, taking on 2-3 Warriors isn't so difficult either. Once you get some good regen on you, and degen + debuffs on them, they are usually the ones running away. Fun times.

it's random so if two warriors jump on you you're pretty much toast. you can throw shadow of fear/enfeebling blood at them and buy some time but the pressure they'll put on you is hard to deal with. you need to look at your secondary for some help. i dont think you mentioned your secondary but mesmer brings signet of midnight and it's very helpful. blind gives 90% chance to miss.

Your secound profession might give you something you can use to defend yourself.. But if you look at it. If its 2 Wars going on you then its 2 vs 1, chance of winning in 2 vs 1 would be fairly low unless you got something like a Anti-War build with some blinds and other stuffs..

Go with a Mesmer secondary to use some anti-warrior hexes and distortion.

life transfer will give you +12 regen (so you can have 9 and still be bleeding) in random. just cast in on all 4 people, try covering with prasitic as well, so if it's removed you get a nice health boost anyway
holy damage is fairly rare so tormentor's chest and legs can really help keep some damge off

Life Transfer has a 30 second recharge...you won't be able to cast it on 4 people, not even with Arcane echo.

Movement is critical for a Necro.
Cast your spells, and get out of the way, and don't attract too much attention to yourself.
Life Siphon is a must have for any Necro, have at least 2 active on the enemy.
Make use of your secondary if possible.

He meant Life Siphon. Four Siphons = +12 regen.
