Default Profits in farming FoW

I have been farming the FoW as a barrage team, and find the profits are usually rather low. Are there any experienced rangers and team find it a highly profitable run?

You pay 125 gp for the entrace fee, picking up a few bits and pieces (loot wise), about 60-100 gp each, say you pick up about 6 per trip, 540 gold, and may be savage a few things say in avarage, earning 400 after sales, that a total of 950G a trip.

If you are buying keys for the chest, you ended up losing money if no good drops are found (which usually a poor drop from my experience).

So what makes FoW such popular place to farm, with trolls and ettins, I could obtain about 1k in 30 mins, I know its not a lot, but its stable and soloable.

Looking forward to your reply.

try to come up with a solo build not a team build, solo-ing you can get around 3 shards, plenty of whites/blue/collector items, once you get an inventory full and sell, you can get around 5-10k (including entrance fee)

How many runs have you made thus far? You should easily be making more than that, shard or no. Where do you typically farm?

I got 3 shards my last time in Fissure, although I usually get 1-2 at most. If you're going with a party you're obviously going to get less drops, but I usually come out with 2-4k worth of loot. More if I do chests and get decent drops. I seriously have no clue how you're managing to get less than 1k unless you're not picking up all the drops, or not doing much of Fissure.

Why don't you try soloing the forest?

yeah guys he's not solo farming... he's farming as a group...

which is stupid imo since there are three solo FoW Forest builds posted on this site which are really easy to follow

i average 3K-4K + 3-4 Shards + w/e gold items i find from chests or monsters

FoW runs (5 man and solo) have single handedly got me my FoW armor. 2 shards = 1 ecto, and the shard droprate is at least double the ecto droprate so i would just sell extra shards for ecto, save cash, sell everything else.. Took about 2 months. (Not solid farming.)
