Zealot Prot/Smite
I was thinking of another combo...
Monk/Mesmer
Attributes:
Divine Favor: 16
Protection: 10
Smite: 9
Skills:
1.) Zealot's Fire
2.) Divine Spirit
3.) Echo {E}
4.) Reversal of Fortune
5.) Mend Condition
6.) Contemplation of Purity
7.) Blessed Signet
8.) Divine Boon
Here's how the build works.
First off, make sure you cast Divine Boon on yourself and Zealot's Fire right before battle. Then, Echo {E} Divine Spirit and start healing. Reversal of Fortune and Mend Condition are 2 spells you can spam for healing and should deal some damage back to any warriors on them.
The point of Echo is to Echo the Divine Spirit. With Divine Spirit, your monk spells cost 5 energy less, making the following the cost:
Zealot's Fire: 5 energy (+2 w/boon) = 7 energy
Divine Spirit: 5 energy (+2 w/boon) = 7 energy
Reversal of Fortune: 1 energy (+2 w/boon) = 3 energy
Mend Condition: 1 energy (+2 w/boon) = 3 energy
Divine Boon: 1 energy (+2 w/boon) = 3 energy
A regular Boon-Prot monk would usually pay 7 energy to cast a simple Reversal of Fortune, but as long as you are under the effects of Divine Spirit, you only pay a total of 3 energy from then on. Now BEFORE Divine Spirit ends, get the benefit of re-casting it for only 7 energy rather than 12 energy after you have Echo'ed it.
This will indeed offer some relief for a short while with energy, and you should be taking this oppurtinity to cast like crazy on allies so it will trigger Zealot's Fire to get off the damage.
Once both Divine Spirit ends, it will be a little energy hassle but if you need to feel free to use Contemplation of Purity or just remove Divine Boon since it will in the long run kill your energy. You have enough Divine Favor to make a good addition of HP when you heal anyways.
Or if you prefer, keep your enchantments and use Blessed Signet to gain energy. Just throw Reversal of Fortune on yourself and hopefully it will stay intact as Blessed Signet activates, giving you the benefit of more energy. Once Divine Favor is back, Echo {E} it and repeat the process.
When you are under the effects of Divine Favor, try to spam as many Prot skills as you can on a target you think has the most melee damage dealers around them for maximum effect of Zealot's Fire. Remember to re-apply Zealot's Fire to yourself once Divine Spirit is up.
Any feedback?

I'll post an old build I used in PvE and have since seen (modded) in PvP.
Mo/E
Glyph of Renewal*
Divine Spirit
Zealots Fire
Balthazars Aura
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Reversal of Fortune
Guardian or Draw Conditions
Rez or Smite Hex
This requires a high investment in Divine Favor, to get at least a 14 second Divine Spirit. Using a 20% enchant mod pushes it to 16 seconds, which means that you can overlap your DS, saving yourself 5 energy every 15 second cycle. Protection Prayers is the gimp here; losing points in prot won't harm the build too badly, and underpowering your smite would be a waste.
I've run this with Boon, but it's a slow spiral to zero energy. The above build can spam spells indefinitely, as long as you don't miss renewing your DS.

Gotta make sure you dont do it too fast, or AI's AoE senses will trigger

Here's the attribute breakdown for my build (and it'll work for yours as well)-
Divine Favour- 11+3+1
Protection Prayers: 8+1
Smiting Prayers: 11+1
And a quick side-note: Contemplation of Purity is a skill, not a spell, and will still cost 5e under Divine Spirit (not 7e either, as divine boon doesn't affect it).
And to critique your build: Blessed Signet is a waste at 3e every 10 (12 with cast time) seconds. This build will be without Divine Spirit roughly half the time, accounting for the 60 second recharge. As such, for 30 seconds of every 60, this build is just a boon prot without energy management. So maybe just an underpowered prot, at that.

It's meant for some spammable damage for Zealot's Fire, not just some ordinary Prot Build, keep in mind.
And only a fool will spam CoP in this build. Yes it's 7 energy but so what, throw up everything else back up cheap.

Why not go with Gylph of Renewal instead of Echo?

Because I like using Echo'd version of DS while the other one is recharging rather than recharging it and waiting a whole minute for its recharge when in fact if I use the Echo'd one right after the last DS, I only should wait about under 50 seconds and after the copied DS ends only below 40 seconds. See what I mean?
After last DS with Echo: below 40 second wait
After last DS with Glyph: 60 second wait

if you use glyph of renewel and enchant mod you can keep divine spirit up forever the combo is
glyph
divine spirit
glyph
divine spirit
the only problem is casting divine spirit before glyph will stuff up your combo.

Another problem is if ur Divine Spirit gets stripped - whole build goes down. That is why ppl don't use it in PvP but does wonders in PvE.
