map for icy dragon sword!?
I was wondering if someone could provide a lablled map on how to get to the location where icy dragon swords r farmed
thank you!!!
PS include any tips/skills/weapons u might use for this run!!

I don't have a map handy, but its a cave in the far northeast corner of mineral springs where lots and lots of imps dwell.

some of my tips..
It will take you 10 or more tries before u can do it right after that it's cake... dont' give up. just keep trying.
I have never made it running the north.. always the south....
I rush/charge up to the cave. just my style not every one rushs/charges.
I use a different build from above one posted
I use the sword from Dorknar that is 15^50 that has 33% more bleeding and +7 more armor vs ele dmg. a sheild that is -2 w/ stance -2/hex (seems like the -3 w/ hex is 70k more then getting a -2 and w/ any skin) AND custmize it... yes the sword SKIN looks ulgy but it's 20% more damage (add that to the 15%^50) after i tired to kill them w/ nice looking 100k fellblade I said to my self "WTH Just kill them and don't die"
Spawn before the cave get bad... don't cry ... that's life.. rezone or run past
If the Two birds chase you let them cast a spell, take the damage and RUN. (might have to experace this your self)
Heal when then the Rust hex is over...
Shadows. heal like crazy or just rezone -)

Nuff said right there, to such a show of laziness. These kinda people if they do learn something will never appreciate it since their investment is so low.

1) depending on the spawn... go all the way right and cirlcle them....
2) kill the three in the way. If you have that spell doyaks signet (ya ya my spelling) just take them out.... I do this when my DP is at -15 from the previous zone or bored
3) Pray and then sprint/charge
4) Run a few times with balance to get a feel of running past them. after you do 5 runs you will notice balance is a waste of a skill slot.
THe key is to run past the smallest group (but i think you know that already)
How do u run the north? from the guide i've tired everything and i always die so i just run the south.

As the picture says, just run the first part (blue). there is just some chickens.
Point 2 show ya the location of the crafter + collector (to give an idea where to run)
Point 1, got to fight! there is some imps and a couple of ice golems there.
Then, you have to go through 2 groups of avicaras.a bit hard, make sure you'll not be blocked, or you'll get Crippling Anguish or Iron Mist ...means deaths.
Point 3, run along the walls, get some rest before final sprint...
once you're ready, everything depends on spawn. You can have 4 groups successively, or just 2,nothing bitween :s .
don't forget, let the Wise avicaras following you (if they do) cast their spells, then run.
There you are.
Fighting slows the run, but if you died in the first zone, it allows you cheering your character up.
Hope you'll find this usefull.
PS: I think south way is easier, but I hate knockdowns.

Going South is much easier then going North. Just solo the Tundra Giants.

Do I need wyvern instead of glads to have 0 damage from imps, I was runnign Watch Yourself, Dolyak and ER, and I was taking like...3-4 dmg

whats the big deal with 3-4 damages... sup abs only gives you +1 abs.
I run with glads exept ascalon helm & knight bootswith maj abs and maj vigor, never had problems when fighting imps.

Seems to me you're missing an Absorption rune and a damage reduction shield.

your solo build should include sprint... and the run to the cave is very easy.. for the Giants do 1 of two things.... cast Dolyak sig and walk by.... or kill every last one.....I loved using the W/Mo IDS solo build... I hated the W/Me build
