Armor for PvP Boon Prot Monk?
Hello... What Armor is recommended for a Boon Prot PvP Monk? The tats would give me a bit more energy, Wanders some Ele def And Judges a little less Energy but some Pysical def...
So would i get reaped with only the def from Tats? or would i be energyless if i used Judges?! :S Not sure what to get and dont really want to waste my gold on something that give bad performance =/ So what do you recommend ?
~Shadow
(NOTE: Yes, i did try to look at the guides, but they mostly told about what skills/attribs to use.. And Yes, i DID try the Sreach botton! (But it was down >.<) )

Full tats or judge's on chest and legs if you want. Saying you'll have NO energy is a little extreme...it works either way, try it and see what you like.

Hands and Feet should almost always be Ascetic's since you rarely get hit there (12.5% chance). Then I have two sets, one Wanderer's Chest and Legs and the other is Judge's (15k Censor's) that I can swap depending on what I'm facing. If I see several sources of elemental damage I'll put on the Wanderer's. Likewise for the Judge's set if I see several physical damage dealers. Note that elemental damage includes the Warrior's weapons, if they use an IDS, FDS put on that Wanderer's!

I like judge's chest and legs with tattoo hands and feet. I like the combined look, but if you want a single set I'd go with all judge's. The max energy is a pretty minor issue because of e-denial and focus-swapping, and physical armor is more useful than elemental even aside from the fact that you get twice as much of it.

Allmost half of all hits goest to chest, so take judges chest. Then take pants if u still feel unsecured. But I love high max energy with recall..

Since Factions is almost out, you might want to consider using the while chanted and while suffering from a condition armors in combination. I used the condition chest and chant pants (chant has 5 universal armor, and 10 local- uni and local dont stack) and rest tats. You can get your nrg high from items, you don't need high nrg armor.

Judge's/Censor's no longer supposed to have an energy penalty so go with the full set if you want, you max energy should still be 30 w/o weapon.
This totally makes Monk Armor worthless, save for sex appeal. Collector's ftw.
