I have tried a scrimmage with another fellow Ele with the big nuker spells but i tricked him by using Mark of rodgort then just flame till his life just desintegrated

then it hit me: is this a feesable stratagy? i guess in GVG it'd be most usefull. what if everyone on your side carries a weapon that delivers fire damage and one of the ele's on your side was to go round casting Mark or Rodgort on all foes this would drastically effect their ability to survive unless they remove the hex.

yea itd work and id also make sure that some of the wars and rangers had a fire type dmg wep so its a constant burn

No it wouldn't. Look at what you are paying. 25 energy, for a conditional seven degen. If you want degen, turn your ele into a E/Me ether prodigy powered illusion spammer and cast conjure phantasm, 10 energy for a nonconditional five degen.

The opposition is paying five energy to remove your 25 energy hex, which isn't a particularly good hex anyway. The only time this would be viable would be in a hex overload build, and I don't think you're going to have enough fire damage floating around to make it worthwhile then.

It's only a good idea if you're confident they'll have no hex removal. I.e., 1v1, some PvE areas, MAYBE Random Arena, but that's it.
