the breakout ranger
ok well this build is sort of a hybrid of the sin trpper with different skills:
name: breakout ranger
build:R/Me
skill set
beast mastery:0
expertise:6
wilderness survial:12+3+1
marksmanship:9
skills:
barrage
apply poison
flame trap
barbed trap
dust trap
epidemic
troll uguent
wirling defense
armor: droks with the head armor that gives marksmanship
runes: superior wilderness survival
minor marksmanship
minor expertise
ok well first lay down traps around you so your in range of the enemies. make sure to lay more dust traps. those in the end are going to save you because due to the recent update the ememie will run away. but because you layed barbed traps theyll be crippled. ok back to the after you lay down the traps. after you do lay down the traps bring in the enemies by applying poison and then using barrage. this will poison at least 4 of them. when they start to bunch up cast epidemic on a poisoned one. thjis will spread it to all of them. so now they will have -9 health degeneration. due to fire and poison. ok so when they run away because of the dust trap you shoot them again after once again applying the poison. this will keep them sick and because of the barbed trpa they will be crippled and so giving you more time ot shoot. also you can lay more traps while they run and on there way back you can shoot them more. if you are taking too much damage use whirling defense so they cant hit you and so this way all you have ot do is rinse and repeat[/B][/B][/B][/B][/B]

Read skill descriptions. Barrage strips preparations.

Your expertise is at 6 and you expect to lay down a lot of traps?
Dust trap will be extremely costly with low expertise...
Barrage is NOT worth it. I repeat NOT worth it.
Don't bother wasting points in Marksmanship.
Put them in expertise.
And since now you have a free elite spot I would reccomend Fevered dreams as a condition spreader.
Way more range.
Or keep epidemic and use poison arrow, as you will be fighting for extra energy with all your traps.
It needs plenty improvement but your on a good start.

Try either Oath Shot or Spike Trap and see which fits into your build and playing style.

well the reason you put 2 max runes on is one well there is only one reason expertise so your traps cost like nothing and wilderness so that they do more damage and also WD lasts longer so just in case your oath shot happens to miss you wont have to worry about your defense

13 expertise
12 wilderness survival
8 marks [or 9, what ever the min. req. one is]
and I guess rest to Beast Mastery for that spirit that cancels out quickening Zephyr
yeah, Oath shot is like,a must on a trapper these days.
