How do people feel about this? New skill description is:
10e 1/2 cast 20 recharge
Target foes action is interrupted.If this attack hits a foe while casting, you strike for an additional xx damage.

Meh, I never used it before because I thought disrupting chop(20 sec skill disable and adrenaline based) and distracting blow(1/2 second cast time) were better. Even now I don't see how this change is going to make savage slash better. Hooray now it's a 1/2 cast time, but what's the point in an interrupt if you need to wait 20 seconds to use it again not to mention they doubled the cost to 10e. Did they mean to nerf it? Because I for one haven't seen the savage slash spamming warriors dominating pvp lately.

I hate this, it used to be a good skill now its just too costly and takes too long to recharge. Its not like its easy to interrupt skills and stuff that have <2 casting speed and now it just makes the skill pointless. I'd rather use power attack two times for more damage and not have to wait till someone be stupid enough to cast a long spell for me to interrupt

Its over now as far as I can tell. They unreleased the patch. Nice one Anet :P
Anyways, it means that our Avarica Friends got a little boost. I was wondering how they were interrupting my Healign Breeze..

Well I know of a few builds that use it. But to be honest trying to time a Warrior interupt is difficult.
ANet really should work on the skills that NEED fixing. Like Protective Spirit and such but lets not start one of those threads.

I agree with you that editing this skill was kind of pointless. Sword warriors only have 1 interupt as it is. They can hardly use that one. Why would you make one Sword attack cut 10 Energy from a 20 Energy pool 0_0

10 energy is insane. Slash USED to be perfectly in line with Ranger's Savage Shot. So why does one get fuxxored and one stay the same?

Hehe, this is a definate way to stop massive lures on Aatxe without more coordination. They will almost never miss Breeze now.

10 energy is ridiculous though. No way in hell will i pick this over Disrupting Chop or Distracting Blow.

But the 20sec recharge is only for the skill itself right?

The description doesn't say that if you get interrupted with savage slash, the interrupted skill recharge takes more time.

At least is what i understand :S

Or what do you guys mean with "55 be aware" and "to be more carefull with aatxes"?

With the new Factions skills and tweaking of existing interrupts, gotta wonder whether Anet is steering us to use more Dazed vs. instant interrupt skills now... If so, Anet please buff Skull Crack

This and a number of other skill changes were accidentally released yesterday, and then they were soon after un-released, reverting the values to their previous form.

People got a sneak peek at what's to come, and there've been a number of posts about them.

Ok, now that Skull Crack has been buffed, what do sword wars think about this?
If they aren't taking hundred blades and they are going against casters, SC would be much more worthwhile. It charges faster and Is effective for more than one hit.

This may change sword warriors to axe warriors as I use this and with -60%dp you can't use it as you only have 8 enrgy left.The only other way is to wear gladiator armor.I don't like it.

actually, this change f***s up farmers that use 1 second skill (55hp monks and others.) so i think it isn't updated for us to be useful, just for PvE to give the enemies some possibility to interrupt, which will screw up 55hp monk for example

I never liked it because imo it took too long to actually hit.

+ I'm a slowmo interrupting newb so my interrupt would always come too late.

I see this as an improvement though
(60dp, 8 energy+ energysword = 13 energy)

It maybe a little nerf to IDS farming as the Tengu in Mineral Springs use it.
