If this is what you consider an experienced player, I am afraid to think about who is an in-experienced player in your eyes.

Anyways, I am not big on trolling and such, wrong is wrong, and I dont realy care who says it.
Are you kidding me. You are essentially dissing a player who has influenced the entire Warrior community. Just because you are in love with the Eviscerate+ Executioners combo doesnt mean everyone is. Following cookie-cutter styles doesnt mean you can call out players for not liking a particular playing style. An experienced player is one who has created many builds, such as kvndooms Titan solo build, which I doubt someone with your intelligence level could. I myself like hammers, but you don't see me insulting someone because of that.

On topic: I think quivering blade could up sword DPS by ALOT. Much better than cleave, and more readily available because of the attack speed of swords vs. axes. I think a Factions/Prophecies war running Quivering Blade, Silverwing Slash, and Galrath Slash would have an amazing dps, making it a more popular future choice than Axes.

Do you also realise hes not the only person ever who has made a warrior build? And you doubt people could equal it because we dont have the uber intelligence level?

I think you should chill out, and take your medication.

I was refering to the difficulty of the enemies the build was created for, and yes I like kvndoom, but I am not sure if he has a fanclub(?). As a frequent reader of the Warrior threads, I enjoyed many of his builds for quite varying enemies. I will readily admit that I probably could not have made that build, or many of his others.

You guys are off-topic, carry it to PM if you wish to continue.
=====================

Sword has never been lost. =/

Neither did hammer.

Obviously not axe.

Now, sword elite had been lost Dragon Slash does look interesting, but I would probably stay with the none elite for swords. Sun and moon slash is what I am mainly looking at. OH, and some of the new tactic and strength attribute. Warriors have enough weapon skills, it is really the utility that is making them great.

I apologize for my flaming, and bid people to ignore my previous comments. I was a little touchy, and I posted some rather stupid comments.

I know you said to ignore your comments, but I couldn't let this go.

kvndoom is a PvE player, so when he says 'Hammers suck, take them out of the game", he is only thinking of half of the picture. He may be Awesome McLeet in the PvE world, but that means exactly nothing as far as PvP goes. Hammers are stronger in PvP, it is a fairly well known fact.

Maybe when he gets a clue and stops making ignorant blanket statements, I would be more willing to listen.

Let it go, guys. I'd rather not continue a flame war between good players for no good reason.

One thing to realize is that random 12v12 is going to make a lot of PvE skills much more viable in PvP. A single warrior with Doylak for example will be able to hold a capture point against multiple enemies...a single skill, currently only viable for PvE, suddenly might be useful in a PvP situation

I also captured this skill in the Factions event and found it to be truly fun. A tactics KD with damage and no exhaustion available every 15 seconds. Add that to the new and improved damage sword skills (and maybe bull's strike) to get a nice non-hammer KD build.

Let's keep this thread on track: It looks as though they have made swords more useful as a damage weapon rather than just a condition spreader with a variable elite skill

I like both of the new skills, and think they'll get play in both pve and pvp. Dazed is something the warrior can work with if they want, and plague touch is an option, but not a necessity either. +42 damage on a 4 adrenal attack is very good. With another galrath slash added, you can have the option of spamming a few +42 damage skills, and have a viable option that doesn't involve final and sever/gash, so I think both of the skills will get some play.

How did a pve'er get flamed for saying hammers suck.. and they suck just as much with factions?

I don't think anyone could make a real argument that hammers don't completely blow in pve. Most of the skills in the line are ridicutarded. The line as a whole looks like it's built for anti-warrior arena fools who want to duel. The dependency on weakness is asinine. None of the new skills will get much use. Enraged smash is supposed to be the dps option available to hammers, but it requires your whole bar to make use of it.. and if dps is what you're after, you're much better off with a faster weapon + buffs.

But, hammers are fine as a pvp option when considering the few usable skills. The gap between those skills and the rest of the line needs to be bridged though, and the pve could be easily fixed w/ tweaks to a few skills.

Off topic like the rest of you, but the dude didn't deserve to get flamed. From his perspective, hammers are worthless. It's not fair to just classify hammers as a pvp weapon (and a limited one at that), and say they're good/fine.

There's no attack speed difference between the two.

And I didn't flame anyone, I said what I think. If the person involved chooses to consider that flaming, then it's entirely their decision.

Dragon slash seems to be rather nice for a midway spike/pressure timeframe damage - here is how.

Charge up to 8 adren.
Galrath Slash, Silverwing slash, Sun and Moon Slash, Seeking Blade

Now your Dragon Slash is charged.
Use dragon slash

Galrtah/Silverwing now have 6 adren, sun and moon has 5. With that you can galrath/silverwing after a couple more strikes.

Another point is that if most of your help for the spikes is from things like an assassin or ranged damage, you can target swap easily between the spikes: use some of the attack skills on one target, more on a different target, etc. Like galrath/silverwing/sun and moon on one guy, seeking + dragon slash on another.

i can see teams centering around those skills

-for great justice
-dragon slash (at lvl 16, it returns 5 adrenaline)

in other words every slash while in fgj deals 40 more dmg. (because dragon slash adrenaline will recharge itself)

I would use those build with a ritualist spirit spammer with QZ, in other words, giving yourself a almost constant fgj ^^.

the new iway? Skill changes: dragon slash in place of eviscerate, final trust in place of executioner's, fjg in place of the spirit, a spirit spammer in place of the tainted necro .
