Default What Do U think is the best 55 monk wand and/or wpn?

Hello. I'd like to know your opinions on 55 monk wands and/or the wpn of enchanting.

Personally, I like Brohns for the 20% recharge healing spells and 10% fast cast. I would ideally love a wand that does 20% fast casting for healing spells, but i've yet to find one. I think I did see a 19% on auctions but it was pretty expensive.

I've also used Ivor's rod, Gordac's Holy Rod, and Holy rods with +3 and +4 energy. But I stil like Brohns.

As for Weapons with Enchanting, the ultimate would be the HOD sword w/ 20% enchanting but it's very pricey. So I use a Furious (9%) Flame spitter of Enchanting (20%).

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

For the rod, this would be the best:

For the enchanting, Flame spitters are actually better than HoD's, since they have fast recharge, which is way better than +5 energy for 55hp builds, as they're very good with energy as it is.

The HoD vs FFS debate has been discussed in detail here, so please keep this thread to discussion of the actual rod, and refer to that thread for discussion about the enchanting weapon.

I think I'd want a faster recharge on smiting... not prot.

What good will the faster recharge on prot do?

Make Prot Spirit recharge faster...

I definitely love my FFS, especially when SoJ fast-charges. That's really the only thing that I always want to fast-charge.

Dont see the point in that rod tbh, i only use a rod for wanding - so any max damage divine favour req rod will do the trick.

For an echanting weapon I use a sword(real crystalline), it gives me the option to use a riposte/deadly riposte build(best vs hydras, as for stability) it may not be the best option for melee warriors for damage or mods, but its a real crystalline damnit, I get commented on it ^.^ unlike my necros FFS

as for wands I found a max damage req7(divine favor) white wand and customized it for dishing out damage, weither it be for Dying Nitemares or for Ice Seige Golems+Mark of Rognrot.

correction, it isnt white but purple and some crap mod of +2e while enchanted... gw not on this comp(just remebered that I replaced that old white wand)

Well... I cannot claim to know anything about 55'ing, since I just started, but I did not have enough cash (yeah, I don't farm) after buying the runes to buy myself a perfect enchant mod >.<, so i'm using the crystalline-skin longsword with an 18% enchanting pommel which I got for 1/4 the price of a 20%, so I dont really care for now. It gives me +5 armor while casting, and although it's rather useless, has a 5% chance to half recharge of spells. I like it.

I have 3 weapons :
- FFS of Enchanting(need to get 18-19%)
- Droknar's Forge Smiting Rod(customized)
- Wroth's Holy Rod(customized)
I recommend Wroth's if you want a cheap, max dmg., 20/20 rod.

My weapons are for 2man UW, where I don't use any Smiting skills.

Basicly I use my FFS when i cast SB or SoJ. After that I would switch to my wand (not as nice and sno or cerb's wands ) which helps me out with protection recharge and also helps me out by halving casting time of healing prayers (helpful with breeze). Also by having a holy rod, you won't need to put any points into smiting to be effective.

Default best 55 wand

Those holy rods are quite simply unbelievable. I never knew that a rod could exist. I guess I do have something to strive for.
