Echo nuker builds are constantly posted and discussed in this forum.

Certainly there's no one consensus build.

Generally, an "echo nuker" build is anything that includes

Meteor Shower
Arcane Echo and/or Glyph of Renewal

I'm sure you could find tons of builds just by using the search bar, but since some of them might be outdated with the AoE update, I'll share mine.

Att:
16 fire
13 energy storage

Skills

Meteor Shower
Glyph of Renewal {E}
Rodgort's Invocation
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Searing Heat
Aura of Restoration
Fire Attunement
Rez of choice

Basically never use Meteor Shower without using Glyph of Renewal first and keep up your enchantments to maintain energy.

If you don't have Glyph of Renewal, just mess around with Archane Echo (assuming that you have an E/Me) and you should find something that works for you.

I'm an echo nuker and this is my standard build, pretty much.

Att:
16 fire
13 energy storage

Skills
-arcane echo
-rodgort's invocation
-immolate
-lava font
-fireball
-flame attunement (or glyph of renewal)
-meteor shower
-rez sign

Generally I prefer to leave out Aura of Restoration and rely on the monk(s). If you're in a tough situation, chances are aura of restoration won't heal you enough to save you anyways.

Don't leave home without glyph of energy.

Stick with arcane echo as a mesmer secondary and use glyph of energy to keep your exhaust as low as humanly possible.
Remember, it's not the energy use that kills you, it's the exhaust (which is why echo nukers suck :P).

Bingo.
Echo nuking is overrated. Who cares that you can cast 2 Meteor Showers back to back when you have to wait almost 60 seconds before you can fire off a third?

Glyph of Renewal turns Meteor Shower's 60 second recast into a 10 second recast. Simple as that.
That's 4 Meteor Showers every 60 seconds as opposed to an Echo nuker's 2.
