Obsidian flesh - How to capture
After a whole 2 weeks trying to capture Obsidian flesh off Harn coldstone i finally managed! and I pulled it off with Henchies!
Hencies you say? YES! Harn takes the route round perdition where skill cap parties like to go, that is going round the island counter clockwise. For those who want to capture this skill i tell you: dont go with skill cap parties, Harn Coldstone walks quite fast and you'll never catch up to him. Instead, take a good group of henchies and go round clockwise. his route you can find easily if u search a map on this site.
theres also a probability that maxine coldstone will show up instead.. but you want HARN!
FYI i capped the skill 1st time out with henchies (and i hate doing high level stuff with them)

he wont start walking untill you get him in your sight range, so it isnt very relevant which way to go unless it is really long way. As for henchies - Im glad that you have finally figured that out =\

Walk the opposite way. That always works for me.
Or just let him in your sight and go back and wait, near Ember Light Camp. He should come around in...half an hour?

First, dont go with cap parties?... Umm thats the job of the party is to cap skills.. I dont know what idiots youve been going with. Second, he and that other boss that walk around dont move THAT fast. Third, your capping party is always there, they are Cynn, Devona etc. Ive always thought perdition is the easiest place to cap. Even in the missions down there its not that bad. And dont wait for Harn, chase his sorry butt down, and kill all that stand in your way.

I capped a ton of skills on Perdition Rock just with henchies.
For Harm I asked my wife to come along and bring one of her interrupt characters.
But frankly, I could have done it strictly with henchies too.

I went with a skill cap group, 1/4 way through our two warriors left and we were left with ele me ele him and necro, and healer henchies. We cleared the whole island. I mean the WHOLE ISLAND. Every last monster, we made sure of it... If I knew we were going to do that I would've brought more then one skill cap and more then two darkstone keys... ahh well. I took alot of screen caps, it was fun.

It's hard to get the hang of Perdition Rock without dying horribly a few times first, but after that there's nothing all that terribly difficult about it.
As for Harm Coldstone, he's vulnerable to interrupts, melee damage, and archer damage, or else just a lot of well-timed damage for when his Obsidian Flesh is down.
And there's also a new Obsidian Flesh boss in Factions. I don't have the details memorized, but they're easy to look up in the usual references.

I did it with hench and one other. We reached the boss and died due to running all the way to her (Didnt want to fight there to find its the ranger boss thats spawned). Of course this triggered her walking and unlucky for us she got stuck behind some other enemies. This meant we had to spend a whole hour trying to find the bitch. We cleared the whole of the centre and right hand side of the island looking for her.
I still don't this skill as bad to capture as Feast of Corruption for the Necro.

I never go skill capping in SkillCap parties because you are guaranteed that as soon as someone gets their skill they're going to drop, leaving you out in the cold.
I got all the E and Me skills in Perdition Rock with hench + 1 guildie. It took three trips and a bunch of rezoning, but it works. Harn showed up the second trip and finding him was kind of annoying, but in the end it worked out.
The bottom line is don't give up.

Yeah just had to jump in, all my cap runs (particularly fire island) were pretty much henchy only.
