Spent a couple of hours attempting to solo multiple places in cantha, but I can't find anywhere. Anyone know a build to solo something in cantha as warrior?

The biggest problem is that most groups in Cantha are balanced (meaning no solo farming as far as I knor :\)

Not true....Thereses in cantha that can be farmed, and im asking for a warrior build.

Been farming Nahpui, kinda. It's too slow to really make it worth while, and since the Star enemies are only level 20 you aren't guarenteed max equipment. You could kill some of the essences as well, but you only get exp/drops from the first time you kill them.

In the one day I was doing it, I got a 15/-5 energy Celestial bow which was nice, but from a chest. The majority of chests, maybe it's just me, seem to drop purples. The rares that dropped from the actual enemies themselves would only have max upgrades if you were lucky enough to salvage them.

There is stuff to farm you just have to look all over for it. I haven't found any good spots with monsters above level 20 yet. I got a max 15% above 50 celestial hammer from the first chest i opened, to bad it wasnt an axe or sword. I tried doing some chest runs around the marketplace area and just got a bunch of purples and some crappy rares. The first couple days I set up my running build and ran everywhere and chanced upon some farming in the undercity that is extremly easy with a warrior. So far I havent gotten any great drops though. I need to get farther in factions and then ill start looking for some high level monsters to farm.

I've opened like 50+ chests, gotten around 5 golds...all throughout Cantha this has been. The golds I got were decent probably more due to the recent chest twinks. Maybe my luck, maybe the suq.

and YAH, there are plenty of higher lvl monsters around. you might as well need to do some missions till you get to the higher-lvl areas, what you say?

I get amused by the posts that are along the lines of "omg i solo farm 500k/hour but not telling how or where" , "why doent u try fiend it urself noob lol i alredy farm vrry much" "I own all the monsters in that area outside that city with the 2 exits dont remember name" etc. The players that have deep knowledge of soloing are usually specialised in 1 class and don't mind sharing their builds and tips. Racthoh has always been posting full guides on areas/builds and farming with Warrior, "dont feel no pain" and Lambda have done so too, and everything that's worth knowing can be found under the sticky "important warrior posts" sticky. In the forums for the other classes you can also find that the most skilled players share their knowledge, as after some point it's more the challenge of being able to solo something that seems impossible than the gold income that counts.
About Cantha, we all yet have the same problems: The early areas of the game aren't really worth the effort, as the drops are not max, the chests don't yield anything worth noting either. Soloing depends on having to deal with one kind of enemies and build to defeat it, the groups that include rangers, ritualists, warriors and assasins, and that won't split if you try to lure them, aren't exactly farming food.
You can keep an eye for small parts just outside outposts/towns/missions, you can have some small groups of 1 profession that you can try to beat, but so far I haven't seen anything really tempting, and I am more interested in completing the missions , quests, getting all towns and outposts, checking the new collectors and crafters etc.
My advice is to just go with the game and keep an eye open for areas that appear tempting, and eventually something will come up. Keep also in mind that we have lots of new skills that yet need to be studied and see what we can come up with.

Been farming faction with the henchmen in Ferndale. Takes about half an hour (without deaths), you'll run into 3 chests, get 300 gold, 4000 experience, and 800 Kurzick Faction from the two quests. Every 1000 faction you can trade for an Amber, which as we know sell for a fair amount at this time. It seems almost like an exploit because it's fairly easy to do, provided you don't foolishly let a patrol get you.

To me, this is the best thing I have found at this time. It's going towards my Friend of the Kurzick title, Wisdom Track, Treasure Hunter, and Drunkard (running supplies with a clear path is boring heh). Even with henchmen, I find that I usually get at least one gold item and a few purples each time I've done it.

I'm thinking of trying Arborstone, it feels like it could be soloed. Although I'm more concerned with capping all of the elites before setting my eyes on mass solo farming for now.
