I don't know why you would want to be a trapper with only 12 WS. Is this for PvP I assume?

1 - are you using druid armor for the extra energy ?
2 - are you using a staff with +15 energy?

try Channeling or drain enchants. just go R/Me, mesmer has plenty of energy adding skills. and yes, you need a Stuff, and no real need for oath shot, just use WS at Max and add a 4th trap like Spike trap or Viper nest (or vile? dont remember)

Viper's nest is beastmastery
How could you possibly have energy trouble with 16 expertise? Like others said, druid's and insightful staff. Should be plenty. Run 16 WS for more damage. I would try trapper's focus rather than oath shot. No need to spam traps if they don't get interrupted. Personal opinion I suppose though. Oath is nice to redo throw dirt as well.

I'm using Druids and a insightful staff, its cuz i can trap all the time, no stopping needed
Maybe I drop Oath and take spike and drop throw dirt and take quickening zephyr.
Sounds fine?

Hmmm... Energy gets pretty low... Wants some kind of e-management... Yet thinks about increasing the energy cost of skills by 30% with Quickening Zephyr...
Doesn't sound quite right to me.

Carry a staff. And don't waste 16 in expertise...

I'd either drop throw dirt or dust trap depending on which you want to rely on for blinding and pick up a Mesmer energy management skill. I'd also trap with 16 wilderness. Dust trap is your main energy burner there its your highest cost skill so dropping that could help you out a lot but thats less damage.
Also I think you ment Energizing winds not Quickening Zephyr

When I solo trap PvE is go 16 Exp and 15 WS. I prefer it to the other way round, and use 4 traps and QZ. With a good energy staff (even a lowly +10 works) you can lay down a dozen + traps and that will kill a lot. Throw in Whirling defence or throw dirt and you combat trap for a bit more (dust first to blind)
