There is a way to combine practiced stance and incendiary arrows all you have to do is use 2 rangers, one brings practiced stance the other brings incendairy arrows both are ranger/mesmers and both bring arcane mimicry, now i haven't tried this myself but it's worth a shot.

this skill is very worth it for distracting rangers. Its also easy to get, i got it first try with henches in the Ring of Fire mission.

Awesome against casters...the damage is a nice side effect. I held healing mobs to very little effect solo, while the group focused on the tank mobs...great stuff here.

At first I didn't like the fact that at 10 wilderness survival, it only increased to 2 seconds of fire but then I realized that it's a sweet skill because you don't have to have any wilderness survival attribute for it to be good.

I often use it as my only wilderness survival skill and then I don't have to up WS at all.

This is my favorite elite hands down. I enjoy interupting more than than damage dealing... Orginally i ran around as a R/W with Flurry, and the burnning help made up for my lack of damage dealing. I run Tigers Fury and a ShortBow and i alternate between Choaking Gas and Incendiary arrows, Incendiary on non casters Chaoking gas at groups of casters or people near a caster... combined with Called shot and Distracting and/or Concussion.. this puts you on anybody's most hated people list =) Do not underestimate the power of burning tho.. that -6 health regen can hurt people fast! Topped with some decent damage people die fast. Its excellent for PvE because monks will cast Mend over and over instead of healing =p and when they do... they get distracted anyways =)

Yes, of course. Not in any useful sense though.
2 simultaneous strikes will give the same burning time and interrupt that 1 strike would do.

u put dual shot ur doing 150% dmg its better then attacking and if they have a blocking stance on chances are not both are blocked one might go through and interupt and set the charr on fire

You completely missed the point. Everyone knows Dual Shot is better than a normal attack. The question is how does Dual Shot add to the effectiveness of Incendiary Arrows ? The answer is that it doesnt. You'll get the same amount of burning time, and only one interrupt.

Anet need to make up their mind. First it was for 8sec, then they buffed it to 10 sec, then nerfed it back to 8.

Ignite Arrows is a preperation, so no other preperations can be used at the same time. They work just like stances in that respect. No reason you can't stack a Prep, a Stance, many Shouts, and whatever skills that are just "skill"s
