I kinda like the MM Update. The reason why is, well, now the healer henchman heals minions even thoe its holy. And if u have 10, just keep making em, renew ur minions. Energy seems to be never a problem

Am confused. Are you saying you had just these 2 and no Mending, Prot Spirit and Heal breeze? Am amazed if that happens to be the case.

I brought my minion master to cantha and I can tell you he is still very effective. People have already talked about the golem +2 vamps perma-verata build, but having 10 minions is also viable, because of a very useful elite enchantment: aura of the lich!
Aura of the lich quarters the cost of sacrifice (at 16 death magic, one use of BotM costs 28 health for my necro with one sup vigor and one sup death rune). Add any healing skills (blood renewal or monk healing skills) and you can continuously spam BoTM to keep your minions in top shape. In fact, with vampiric horrors, you don't even need to heal yourself!
There is also the cool factor. Liches are powerful undead mages who command undead servants, so it makes sense that a necromancer would have the aura of a lich. It fits in the whole theme of it.
So now that BoTM can be spammed, you don't even need to be /Mo for heal area anymore! This can free up any secondary profession you like.
The possibilities have increased dramatically. Ok sure, you're not gonna steamroll across the whole map with your army. But that doesn't mean you are no longer a force to be reckoned with.

Eles - did you ever play a primary Ele? and without spells like firestorm?
I still sometimes feel bad when I group my ele with people as I destroy things easily.
The nerf hardly made me blink outside the one day where EVERY area effects, even one-offs made things run. They fixed it the next day. Did you even ever test/try/use these skills since then or is it just heresay? Yeah.
Necros - boy I use every line and for different things.
Necros can even DD and there is more in factions.
I find Necros possibly the true jack of all trades, aid others mana, health, party wide buffs, wells, it's almost ridiculous how much they can do.
Yeah MM took a hit, and I think the double hit (10 MM and Verata Sac) was harsh.
But I'd also almost laugh at that idea good MMs wont make it work.
Won't be what it was to be sure - it can't be.
And maybe they should have used a nerf stick and not a bat.
But they'll be out there and the good ones will do well, just like the Eles

Minion Masters aren't really nerfed too much. 380 hp (sup death, another sup, sup vigor) is easy for a monk to heal after botm. I keep up 10 fiends, (although that number goes up and down a lot cause they act like tanks) and I'm still very affective and a lot of people like me in the groups. My emergency heal is consume corpse and I occasionnaly cast a lvl 11 well of power (will change to blood when I find the flesh golem).
