Default E/M pvp build for earth magic

Im workin on a pvp build for earth magic. So far I have...

1. Earthquake
2. Aftershock
3. Kinetic Armor
4. Stoning or Stone Daggers or both
5.Ether Feast
6. Aura of restoration
7. Obsedian Flame
8. Rez Sig

Im worried about the heavy energy cost, and all the exhuastion. I might just stick with the air build that I have right now which is...
1. Lighting Strike
2. Lighting Orb
3. Enervatig Charge
4. Blinding Flash
5. Mind Shock {E}
6. Ether Feast
7. Aura of Restoration
8. Rez Sig

I prefer to go with the earth. But, I will stick with air if it ends up being better. Im also willing to switch my 2ndry profession. Any advice?

The first build is crazy; it has no elites and no energy management.

The second one lacks energy management too.

I realize enchantment stripping is a fear, but you're probably PvPing at the same low levels that I am, so you have to at least try with some energy-boosting skills.

In particular, Kinetic Armor will drive you crazy unless you have enough energy to "waste" a few spells keeping it up.

Ether feast is not an energy management skill. You can search other threads as to why attunements are currently bad in pvp as a energy management option.

The #1 rule of thumb when it comes to skilling up an elementalist is NOT to take more than 1 skill that causes exhaustion. If you do take more than 1, it needs to be used with great caution to not exhaust your energy, or bring along glyph of energy <elite>....... So along those lines you need to revise your earth build and bring both glyph of lesser energy AND glyph of energy for obsidian flame and earth quake.

As for your air build. First consider what role your air ele is. Since mind shock is your elite, you need to consider that you will need 2 energy management skills since you are not using ether prodigy <elite>. You should bring along air attunement... and another skill for energy management... its good to look at the mesmer inspiration skills like "power drain" or "drain enchantment" for that.... If you don't want to put attributes into inspiration magic than bring along glyph of lesser energy.

8. Rez Sig
should i switch to part monk, since at this point im not very defensive b/c i got rid of kentic armor b/c renewing is a pain.

For the earth line. Its generally not a good idea to use mantra of concentration or glyph of concentration due to the high energy or exhaustion of spells. Mantra of Resolve is the best option if you don't want to get interrupted while managing your energy with glyphs.

Drop Ether Feast, get something else. Drop one Exhaustion spell, get something else. I'm a bit vague here, I'll give you something definite later.
