I currently have a level 9 mo/r

I am planning to buy LA armor and the required sup runes to get a 55 monk. Shood I change classes when I get the chance? Also, what attributes shood I apply and what weapon should I get?

I would wait till you beat he game first and learn how do be a Monk or play the Role as it is the most challengeing role in GW.Factions is coming out as well so might want to get ready for that.

Already have a Level 20 ele and level 20 warrior that both finished game. I am well aware off how a monk works ^_^

Those roles are entirely differenent than playing Monk if you want a quick lesson make PvP Monk and go to the RA.When ppl start yelling at you or they may leave then you will know what it feels like if you don't keep them heal up or protected.I first played the game as a Monk not with my Warrior or Ranger and I did every mission and skill quest.I did this with groups and henchies.If you are wondering what secoundary there is guide on the front page of the site.

Well I get yelled at reguardless if I keep heals/prots up on people or if I dont

On a side note, Yeah monks are really REALLY different from the other characters in the game as it is a VITAL support character. If you haven't gotten down healing/prot builds well, I suggest you do before you create a 55 monk (as both are needed constantly with the 55 build). As for secondary, I suggest you get all of the secondaries before switching to a 55 (a whole lot easier than doing it with a 55 monk). I personally like monk/warrior for tanking, monk/mesmer and monk/necro for farming, however, I've heard that monk/ele is supose to be pretty good as well. So just get all of the secondaries

its not that hard.
