Do the Barridan's Estate quest, "The Vineyard Problem". It gives you both. The Barridan estate is west of ascalon.

Is that the one when you destroy all the aloe seeds? He says he's out of pre.

Buy them from the guy in ascalon city indeed - FYI, I believe he sells every single skill you can get in pre-searing, so if you missed any other skills, check with him again.

Oops, I thought he was saying that they were way past presearing, not him. Yes, buy them at the ascalon skill trainer.

I remember forgetting to do the rez quest on my first character. I freaked before I knew about the skill trainer. :P
