I personally think that there is no way this would work for droks/southern shiverpeaks runs. Running fast and avoiding dmg is nice, but with knockdown and skills like Ice spikes, it doesn't matter how fast you are running or how many attacks you can evade/block. If you choose warior secondary, you can get balanced stance, but have no hex removal. If you choose monk secondary, you get hex ermoval, but no balanced stance.

Not to mention that balanced stance would cancel out which ever running skill you were using at the time.

True, but there's other ways around this. One idea is to swap Escape for Melandru's Resiliance and just outlive the hex. And, yes, for Southern Shiverpeaks running I use R/W and some skills added on to this build. Like Balanced Stance. But, the Drok's Run is really not the area of expertice for Ranger runners. That's more left to the tougher W/R and W/Mo.

Also true. This is why you learn when to run and when to tank. Takes practice, and a deep understanding of the skills on your bar. A trick I normally use with Balanced Stance is to also take along things to heal me rapidly, like Troll Ungent along with Endure Pain. Let TU do it's thing, and when Balanced runs out, Storm Chaser the heck out a' there.
Well, I guess my point on this thread was missed. This is just a base. A starting point for potential running builds for everywhere, including theDrok's run. Yes, a Ranger *can* do it, but it's generally not worth it. All I'm saying is, "Start here, Build up".

ummmm...what's new about this??? This seems like common knowledge to me, not an "end all" running build.
Dodge is good to bring aswell though btw...33% faster run instead of 25% (Storm Chaser), plus chance to evade. Much better than SC for running through thicker mobs.
