hey y'all well here i go

just deleted ma warrior runner/tank/farmer dude (caus i got a 55 monk no need for him now, + i really didnt use him alot) i prefer casters since i got a ranger, ele, and a monk

well i kept a slot free incase Anet only released 1 new chars slots, which thankfully the nvr we got 2 now, so i decided mesmer is wat i should make y not

iv got 3 other chars with 2 full 15k armour and the monk with 55 armour, i got 330k in storage so money isnt and object, (although im thinkin of keeping it all for factions >.<)

id like 2 know

1.which is the best secondary for a mesmer

2. the best build 2 start with i.e degener

im makin a mesmer so that our guild always has a mesmer, for some gvg

iv heard about the illusionary weapon build but i dont know of wat skills

Huge collection of data throughout the boards, but to summarize (not going into much detail, you'll have to search for that):

1. Me/Mo or Me/N for PvE. The most powerful builds are either pure mesmer (go Me/Mo for hard res) or Me/N, which has many decent linked skills among the curses line.

For PvP, Me/E is a decent selection as skills like gale and windborne speed are generally quite useful.

2. Start off with a degenner, as most stuff has low hp. By later game you'll want to tend more towards the domination line for skills like empathy. However, it is mainly up to you to experiment as there are plenty of good skills.

(i like under dog classes i.e ranger but alass everygroup wants 1 when ure in the latter stages of the game ROFL)

If I was going to make a pve Mesmer ( I have a PvP only) I would make a Me/N and go direct damage and degen.

For a PvP Environment here's some build suggestions that I've seen and run, for the Different secondarys.

Me/W- Illusionary Weaponry (random Arena)
Me/N- Shut Down or Degen or E-denial/Corpse-Control or FC Orders (any type of PvP/GVG)
Me/E- Lite Spike(air magic) or Flareway(fire Magic) or a Machine Gunner (Earth Magic) (Random Arenas) Or an Shut Down or E-denial w/ Gale or Blinds (for GvG or HoH)
Me/Mo- E-denial or Shutdown w/ Martyr & Condition Removal (Mainly for GvG but can be used for HoH
Me/R- I've seen some Illusionary Weaponry builds and Trapper builds in Random Arena's using the Ranger secondary.
