A unique RA Build (yey)
Heres my random arena build, its unique (never seen conjure + mark with a pet, but flame on if it makes you that mad ), fun, and stupid. Enjoy!
16(12) Fire Magic
12(12) Beast Mastery
4(3) Energy Storage
Conjure Flame
Glyph of Elemental Power [use for Conjure Flame]
Mark of Rodgort
Res Sig
Charm Animal
Call of Haste
Ferocious Strike
Tiger's Fury
Explanation: Use Glyph, then cast Conjure. Find any target and cast Mark of Rodgort and wand attack him with a fire rod. Use Call of Haste and Ferocious Strike to get a lot of extra damage and energy management. Tiger's Fury is to help you do more damage.

if you're going to be relying on enchants for your damage then I'd say IllWeps would be a better choice.

this actually can do a lot more damage than IW, i've beaten iw mesmers 1v1 with this build, assuming they didnt use distortion but its a major monk killer if they cant remove the hex. also, this is a ranged attacked, iw is a melee... harder to kite, and you have a pet ^_^

People always made fun of me for mentioning elemental power + conjure flame.
Pretty fun in pve to bring barrage and a bow and watch the numbers fly.

Random arenas are about playing around with builds, what would be worse is if he was going into random arenas using some copied build like TF axe warr, trapper or interrupt ranger.
Theres no material reward for winning in Random Arenas, unless you count a poor tickle of faction as rewarding, the only reward is fun, so in that sense this build is successful.

lol, so you put enchantment removal on every single build you create? c'mon, this is random arena...are you trying to tell us you never experiment there? I'll bet you've been beaten by IW mesmers before. I'd imagine we all have. Not all builds are made to take on all other builds

Does Tiger's Fury work on your pet? I didn't think so....if I'm right, why is it there? To spam wand shots? Looks like an interesting build. Thx

tigers fury only effects you, but its about 44 damage per wand hit, so the more the better

So are you saying that you shouldn't run boon prot in RA either? You should try out a fastcasting Me/Mo with Divine Intervention and spike heals? No. How about i run my TF axe warrior and get faction to unlock useless skills like Fevered Dreams. RA is the place to own random noobs and get quick faction, nothing more.

Sounds like a very interesting concept, and inspired me to try something similar
16air
10in self defense attribute
rest energy storage
Glyph of elemental pwoer
Conjure lightning
Glimmering mark(e)
res sig
Self defense spell
Self Heal
Damage spell/energy management/self defense spell
Damage spell/energy management/self defense spell
Not quite sure what for the other slots out of the basic combo since I'm at college and don't have access to skill list.
edit:whats the attack rate of wands, could it make more sense to go e/w using flurry and axe/sword skills.

-Why do you have need energy management? Your have minimal energy use
-Your offense is very limited and relies on a single, easily removed hex.
-Part of your build relies on your pet and you have now way to rez him. If your pet dies you now have 3 dead skill slots.
-Wands have very underestimated DPS, but don't expect to ever kill anything if the team has a monk. The DPS is underestimated, but it isn't exactly powerful either.
-The hex is easily removed and has a long cooldown. It also minimizes your ability to change targets.
-Conjur X has a long cooldown. If it gets removed your lose a ton of damage and cannot get it back for a good minute. Conjur can be a compliment to your existing damage, but you should never completely rely on it.
-Most of the warrior shutdown skills also work on you if need be.
I wouldn't ever suggest running this build as is, even in random arena. It is extremely vulnerable to being shutdown. If the other team has a competent player you are likely to see condition removal or enchantment removal.
