Default Is a fire and blood magic user really good??

I have an E/N and so far ive put all my points into fire, blood and energy storage. I thought i would blood magic would be good as you can heal yourself and deal damage as well . . however i hardly ever use my blood magic skills as i often use aura of restoration. Would death magic be better? Would someone suggest an effective fire/blood magic user for PvE . .or any other builds . . .help greatly apreciated

There's really no point for an elementalist to put points into more than one damage attribute. If you go fire, fire should be your damage attribute, period.

In general, I must confess that I've almost totally failed to come up with Ele/Ne builds that make a lot of sense.

Or you could run sort-of-support...like a Warder + Battery, but that would probably not work well.

Actually water magic, and I think curses go well together, however I've noticed this combo being played mainly by N/E.

Well then, no more blood for you

Both have AoE hexes, and they can blanket each other. Dunno if I worded it right.

Hmm...I'd suggest you use neccro powers for death/minion mastery and use yer minions to aggro foes you can easily shower with AoE fire line...dunno how it would work on any kind of high lvl farming, though

I'm getting a bit bored with standard Ele builds, and considered an Ele/Ne minion master using both Glyphs of Energy.

One thing's for sure -- it would be better as an Ne/Ele build, mainly for the rune and secondarily for Energy Storage vs. Soul Reaping (note -- Aura of Restoration is pretty lame in double glyph builds like that, so there would be no Energy Storage skills at all).

But that detail aside, it seems as if there would be some good synergy.

That said, I'm not sure what to farm. Minions don't seem like the best tactic vs. AoE spellcasters, and I'm not sure how to get the initial kills on a sandwurm run vs. all those Enchanted (Weapon) guys.
