PvP Group build-1 warrior 6 monks and a ranger
This build was first thought up by someone in The HP warrior game thread.
The basic idea is to have one warrior with a whole lots of health and 7monks that each use vital blessing and strength of honor on him and they prot and prot and mend and just put a whole bunch of enchants and one of the monks is a ranger with Symbiosis and fertile season.
In other words one sponge/damage dealer tank and 6 bonding enchanting monks that spam heal party (they are still in the starting blocks and havent moved) and 1 spirit bonder (r/mo)
Monks: mo/x
Attributes:
This depends on the monk but they should have max smiting and the rest i the attribute that their 3 enchantments req.
Skills:
Elite (1 Martyr*,1 life Barrier, all others probably OoB)
Heal Party (all)
Blessed Signet (all)
Strength Of Honor (all)
Vital blessing (all)
Enchantment 1
Enchantment 2
Enchantment 3
List of Enchantments:
Balthazars Spirit
Watchful Spirit
Holy Veil
Essence bond
Succor
Live vicariously
Mending
Life Attunement
Life bond
Retribution
Also there can be more than one of certain enchants
Ranger: R/mo
Attributes:
Beast mastery: 16 (12+3+1)
Wilderness Survival: 15 (12+3)
Expertise: All else
Skills:
Symbiosis (VERY Important)
Frozen soil (once they down, they down)
Dust trap
Spike Trap (E)
Barbed trap
Flame Trap
Serpents quickness
Rebirth (JUST in case)
Tank: W/ME
Attributes:
Axe: 16 (12+3+1)
Strength: 14 (11+3)
Inspiration Magic: 6
Skills:
Flurry
Berserkers Stance
Skull Crack
Penetrating Blow
Disrupting Chop
Epidemic
Inspired Hex
Inspired Enchantment
The tank goes in and goes straight for the necros. Then the monks. He hits em 10 times then BOOM head shot Dazed no more heals. If hexed use inspired hex. If enemy has a enchantment use inpired enchantment. Use Epidemic to spread dazed thru the casters. With Flurry or berserkers up at all times you should charge adrenaline pretty quick. Use disrupting chop if using someones usin something they shouldnt. (Zealous mod recommended)
The monks just cast there everlasts then sitback and relax (except the one with martyr). The ranger casts his spirits then Traps all around it so that it can not be taken out (should also trap in key places for anti caster).
If anyone sees my vision and would like to be part of a test run PM me in game
IGN: Legless The Elf
*the one that brings martyr should also bring a condition remval skill to use when the get the conditions on themselves

his point is the warrior will get around 3000+ hp. while this would mean the warrior would be near invincible in the beginning, there is enchant removal & the enemy team doesn't have to target the warrior. As soon as they start targeting the monks, the enchants on the war go down, his hp goes down & suddenly he isn't invincible... so all in all, i doubt this build could work.

You might also want to put some offense into the build, seeing as it's for PvP. Nobody in 8v8 will pump their damage into your "damage sponge" and even if they did, you wouldn't kill anyone.
It is also a MUST to have Oath Shot on your spirit spammer to make it effective.
You could modify the monks to smite and do something like a SoJ spike, but I consider even that pretty gimmicky.

Well first of all this is for big map PvP areas (not RA or CA) so the "kill the monks" will not or should not work bcuz they are not seen they have not moved
Secondly the kill the spirit part, the spirit cannot be killed bcuz it is surrounded by traps or at least should be so if some1 trys to go get the spirit they will die also it needs to be very well placed (i may make some maps) as for the oath shot suggestion it isnt a bad one except for the fact that that would bring the ranger very close to the battle.
As for the suggestion of blinding the warrior well... there is a reason for Martyr
Finally the how do you kill stuff part. Well that is a work in progress and would all depend on the warriors build but he has strength of honor cast oh him like 6 times. Therefor his axe will be doing +60ish dmg/hit. That would not be enough to kill a team but with Fertile Season up once they are down, they stay down.
Now I will add a short description of the steps to take as soon as you spawn.
1- Monks cast there 5 or 6 enchants
2- Warrior goes out the gate followed by ranger
3- Ranger puts down spirits in strategic location as soon as enemy team is visble and then traps, traps, traps and keeps trappin the whole time
4- Warrior charges in and kills stuff (using the build that you will help be made )
5- monks now use Heal Party as needed bcuz they way are out of healing range but not heal party range (one monk is using condition Martyr also)
6- Warrior shouldnot die unless all enchants are removed. (Natures renewal, Linegering Curse etc.)
I hope this helps yall but I am still waiting for ideas for the tank (was thinkin somethin with skull crack maybe)

That suggestion was just for testing the limits of Guild Wars (the health display is a bit buggy with four-digit numbers), not for actual PvP play. For PvP it'd be just stupid, as you'd do absolutely nothing.

How do you kill stuff? Remember, the point of this game is to win, not to survive, and still I don't get how you can survive. Come off it, they can just ignore your warrior, you know. The damage from one warrior is negatable, unless you're facing a horrible team. In any case, your monks being hid won't stop your enemy going right out in your base and killing your Lord, nor will it stop them from capping the altar, if it's in Tombs. It might make the opponent waste some time in Annihilation matches, and the only place where it might be plausible would be in Capture the Flag. Also, no hex removal? What if they have a person who has a Rend? Sure, that guy will die, but your Warrior is now rendered near-useless.

Did you even read it?
The warrior will have 6 Strenth of honors on him so he does an extra 60ish dmg so they dont really have a choice but to face the tank bcuz he does do condierable dmg. As for the rend... well yea thats the end of the build...
Anyways, I think i have found a build for the warrior and will be editing my first post shortly.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but enchants do NOT stack, so there is no point in putting several SoH an VB on the tank since only one of them will be active.

Indeed. Your build revolves around a mistaken game mechanic, sorry to say.
People can also wand the spirit. In addition, you won't be able to put enough traps around the spirit to kill or discourage a warrior in time.
Skull Crack is also inadvisable. More than one person carries condition removal in 8v8.

Even if they stack, I think I asked if one person rended him? Sure, the render will be dead, but your team is now useless.
Why is this in the Monk subforum anyways?

you plan on having the monks "hidden" from sight, here is what's wrong with that:
1. once the team sees your warrior is invincible (he isnt, give me a sec), they will ignore him and go look for your team.
2. heal party HAS A RANGE. your monks wont be healing anything.
3. martyr HAS A RANGE, no conditions are removed.
4. maintained enchantements HAVE A RANGE!!! your warrior will have 0 enchants on him when he strays from the team, which means he is gonna get easilly killed by 5 damage dealers.
and... enchantements of the same sort do not stack...
you might say your monks will "survive a battle", but that isn't a way to win... also, their energy will run out very quickly if they are forced to spam heal party all the time (their only heal), and heal party doesn't save anything from even an insanely stupid, noob spike.
