Domination/Illusion, and I also prefer Me/R for Serpent's Quickness. Although it's not generally used.

There is no best.. like everything in guild wars. Inspiration however is more a utility line, imo. I just love Illusion for my shutdown Me/N, but Domination has a few awesome spikes, damage wise. Domination also has a larger array of skills imo, including lots of shutdown.

People love the +40 dmg + Deep Wound of Eviscerate as an elite skill with 7 adrenaline. I preffer Phantom Pain + Shatter Delusions for a 15 energy cost 60 dmg + Deep Wound spike, that can be used in range.

I use whatever works best for the area i'm in at the time. If it's spellcasters illusion/domination. If it's farming ettins then it's domination. And so on.

well im new 2 mesmer and only lvl 12 but up to the point that im at (yaks) domination has been the best iv found (altho pre sear is degen all the way >.<)

If you're talking about PvP, an E-Surge build is definitely dominant in high level GvG and tombs,followed by Migraine interrupt. As to 'what mesmer build does most damage...' that's not what they're used for, as a warrior will beat you hands down in that area.
