I've ran a smite Monk and E/Mo in RA and won a few fights..but then you can fo reasonably well with poor or mediocre builds. Smite skills, like all AOE, aren't at all suited to 4x4, yet I've never seen a dedicated smite monk in HA since the days when healing ball was a viable build (bonders with Balthazars Spirit don't count). Some decent teams may run a secondary monk with JI to buff Warriors, or Balthazars Aura to break up ward campers, but that's about it.
