You will not ever even notice the damage differnce if you use a +5 armor defence sword/axe/hammer mod.

I had both dragons and glads and just recently salvaged my dragons for the sup absorb and sup vigor. Glads is also better because it allows more flexability with builds that may require more energy.

If you are fighting a battle thats longer than 10 seconds, I have trouble believing that an exrta 5 energy makes more difference than one attack. When does this 5 extra energy actually come in handy? Do you notice times when you just used 20 energy and then imediately had to use another 5? My point is, no matter what warrior armor you are wearing, you still only have 2 pips of energy regen. Gladiators armor doesnt change that. That means you can only use energy at the same rate as before with out running out. Unless your energy consumption only depletes your energy very slowly, its not the +5 energy that helps.

Also what are these builds that require 25 energy as opposed to 20?

There are so many that I do not care to name them. If you have never seen one than you need to read these boards more often. There is a new Tombs build that uses the extra energy from Glads + extra energy from a 20/20 rockmolder so that you can use IW effective. There are W/E builds that use energy. Many W/Mo builds that use the extra energy.

I can't tell you how many times I have been in a fight or running someone and 2-3 energy was the difference between life or death. 5 energy matters. Why do you think most people have a set of weapons that offers them a high energy build?

I am not going to argue that glads is the end all be all of warrior armor but please do not trivialize an advantage just because you do not like the armor.

You only get this 5 energy bonus at the start, after you have been fighting, its not what you start with that matters. Also, I still have trouble seeing where you would need 25 instead of 20. Could you give me one example?

An example would be if you have DP...having more energy means you still can use your 15 energy skills for longer even though you have died few times. Also every time in between battles you regen so the 5 bonus isnt just at the start. But mostly it just means you have the option of using more energy based skills in progression, I cant think of anyone who hasnt ran out of energy and having a larger pool of energy makes this more managable. Some like glads for this reason, but I like mainly for allowing more DP. There are some skills that require 25 energy but that depends if you want these in your build, but some do. In the end you either like this or dont..but both are ok
