Probably would be:
Fireball, Rodgort's Invocation, Meteor Shower, Meteor, Phoenix, Fire Attunement, Echo, *insert skill of choice*
However, I find that Glyph of Renewal works better than Echo, as you can renew Fire Attunement at the beginning in case it get's stripped, and the recharge is shorter. Things over 20 seconds to recharge aren't really worth Echo-ing...Glyph of Renewal is better I would have to say. Your preferance really.

Uh no, the key to the echo nuker was combing glyph of renewal or echo with arcane echo allowing for triple nukes.
As he's nowhere near perdition rock, he's not getting echo or glyph of renewal anytime soon, so his echo nuker is going to look something like this.
Nuke 1, Nuke 2, Nuke 3, Nuke 4, Fire Attunement, Self Heal, Arcane Echo, Res Signet
For more nuking POWAH you could drop the self heal.

For elites I would prefer Elemental Attunement which worked with Fire Attunment would be refunding 80 percent of your energy meaning constant energy.
...and this is my build if your interested.
Fireball/Phoenix, Meteor Shower, Arcane Echo, Elemental Attunement, Rodgort's Incovation, Metoer, Fire Attunment and the last skill usually would be Fireball/Phoenix but could be replaced depending on what I'm nuking.

Since you're /Me secondary, pack a few interrupts. Wait for him to try to shower, then interrupt him. THEN shower him.
PS. Triple nuke is a total overkill, I don't recommend it. And regarding Elemental Attunement, I'm not sure you can cap it in the desert, I think you can't until Pedrition.
Immolate, Power Spike, Power Leek, Incendiary, Fireball, Fire Att., Meteor, Meteor Shower.

When you say "he" I believe you are talking about the doppelganger? He wasn't asking about that but oh well...
Bah forgot that you haven't reached Perdition's yet...and Ether Prodigy is at Perdition's too...I guess you can cap Mantra of Recall from one of the Facets and use that for the time being...

Oh well....i re-read the thread and you're probably right...
There are some elites in the desert just not sure which one.
I think I capped Ether Renewal in Thirsty - you can use it with Aura of Rest., Fire Attunement for energy + echo + shower + incidenary + fireball. Stacks up rather nice. You can use Rodgort too but it's insanely expensive.

Ether Renewal is capped there, and Mantra of Recovery, which he'll never use anyways since it's Fast Casting.

Elementalist/Mesmer
Level: 20
Energy Storage: 13 (12+1)
Fire Magic: 16 (12+4)
Mark of Rodgort (Fire Magic)
For 21 seconds, whenever target foe is struck for fire damage, that foe is set on fire for 5 seconds.
Energy:25 Cast:1 Recharge:5
Arcane Echo (Mesmer other)
If you cast a Spell in the next 20 seconds, Arcane Echo is replaced with that Spell for 20 seconds. Arcane Echo ends prematurely if you use a non-Spell skill.
Energy:15 Cast:2 Recharge:30
Fireball (Fire Magic)
Target foe and all adjancent foes are struck for 119 fire damage.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:7
Rodgort's Invocation (Fire Magic)
You invoke the power of Rodgort at target foe's location. All foes in that area are struck for 127 fire damage and are set on fire for 3 seconds.
Energy:25 Cast:3 Recharge:15
Meteor Shower (Fire Magic)
Create a Meteor Shower at target foe's location. For 9 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for 119 fire damage and knocked down every 3 seconds. This Spell causes Exhaustion.
Energy:25 Cast:5 Recharge:60
Fire Attunement (Fire Magic)
For 61 seconds, you are attuned to Fire. You gain 30% of the Energy cost of the Spell each time you use Fire Magic.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:60
Elemental Attunement [Elite] (Elementalist other)
For 45 seconds, you are attuned to air, fire, water, and earth. You gain 50% of the Energy cost of the Spell each time you use magic associated with any of these elements.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:60
Resurrection Signet ()
Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.
Energy:0 Cast:3 Recharge:0
About a couple of seconds before the Ranger pulls of the Tank aggros, cast Ele Attune then Fire Attune in that order to get the energy bonus from Fire Attune and Mark of Rodgort for burning after the Fireballs. Then Arcane Echo. Fireball the first enemy then the echo'd Fireball. Fire off Rodgort's Invo then go back and hit the two Fireballs again. You should be able to get about 3 Fireballs out of the Echo. Use Meteor Shower for bigger targets, i.e. Monk bosses and Wurms and when everything else is recharging. You can echo it on Wurms, too; but that's about it. Make sure to keep your Attunements up because they are the key to this build. Bring Mantra of Recall for areas with a lot if interrupts instead of Mark of Rodgort. Enjoy!

Echo Flare? WTF are you talking about? It has no recharge time. And don't get ether renewal. Crap Elite.

You could have just said that you don't know the game, and saved the rudeness.

I liked his build....he is right, flare has no recharge time, and echo and arcane echo are basicly the same thing, so why waste the elite when arcane echo will do the job fine.

Guys -- are any of you seriously suggesting that Flare is available as soon as you're through casting it?
If so, I have to get your version of the game, and so do all the people who've posted about the "cooldown" time after spells.
If not, then the more obnoxious among you owe apologies.

And by the way -- Ether Renewal is a great elite for solo farming, because of:
A. The health gain
B. The fact that there will surely be enemies around to target with your spells
C. The fact that you're happy to slather on other enchantments in a solo farming build
D. The fact that you can choose your farming area to be free or almost free of enchantment stripping, interruption, etc.

They crappi-fied it 'cause it weren't Eles that were using it, and making it unworthy in the process...
