Sorry Quixote, I was only referring to the OP's build. Having diversion would of course work well against mend ail, but he doesn't have that (or, as it seems, any domination).

Well now that the flaming is done and we're back onto constructive criticism, this build is specialized for dealing with warriors. I never said it was invincible, infact a 4 caster team would make this build redundant, but against warriors this build is king.
I think of mesmers in states of specialty. Mesmer builds are designed to do one thing and do it good. Most people go anti-caster, this build is anti-melee.

Who told you that? In arenas you can definatly go well rounded. And in my opinion, should when you take SoM as your elite.

Okay, constructive criticism...
I would do...
Me/N
Fast Casting: 7 +1
Illusion:10 +1 +1
Inspiration: 9 +1
Blood Magic: 10
Signet of Midnight (elite)
Plague Touch
Power Drain
Distortion
Strip Enchantment
Arcane Conundrum
Mark of Subversion
Resurrection Signet
1/2 minute revision, but I would also recommend you take another elite instead of SoM.

It would work, except IW and SoM are both elite
Otherwise, it would be pure devastation.

after not playing GW in a while i got back in and tried a very similar build (blinding 2 warriors then putting some caster pressure).
the only problem i found is that every wamo out there carries mend ail. and even if i apply both blinds on the same target, it only delays them for a few seconds.
the way it finally won some rounds for me was with me paying full attention to the warrior: degening, blinding and interrupting/diversion the mend ail. i manage to take two warriors out, but it took me a long time, and it's in no way shutdown.
i like blindness better on rangers. they usually don't carry cond. removal, and if you blind one and go straight for the monk to interrupt then you got yourself a nice 2 people shutdown. (unless you're on your back already by a nasty hammer blow).

I'd drop arcane echo from that build and stick in Enervating Charge. Weakness ftw!
Needs some energy management too.

Does anyone know if Clumsiness stacks with Ineptitude? If so you got yourself a way to kill Frenzy wars in a blink of an eye.

Yes. In 4v4, a Warrior should ALWAYS carry some cond. removal, as they are really sensitive to them and in RA you can't know if you'll fall with a prot monk. Except for the W/E and W/Me, every warrior has a way to remove conditions (Antidote signet/Plague touch/Mend Ail).
Worst, being a whammo, I often mend ail the other wars in my PUGs. Could you fall upon this kind of W and your build will be screwed up. BUT as many W don't bring a cond. rem. of any kind, added to their abondance in RA, your build will earn you some factions.
Your build depends also on your teamates. If you fall with a poison ranger, you will have a way to cover your blindness with his poison, thus enforcing greatly the power of SoM/PT.

I have a build similar to this, I can out blind a mend ailment Warrior without trouble. Just make sure you have Insp jacked and your mantra on to reduce cool down by ~50%. Then you are blinding every 8 seconds, Mending takes ~2 seconds, plague touch (at least 2 seconds as the warrior will swing), Mending = 6 seconds. The warrior can get off one swing before you blind again. Eventually the energy pool will run dry, you will have removed all the energy based attacks and there will not be any adren for the other attacks. Then you can blind the warrior and use plague sending to blind the rangers (a better target anyway because of their interupt). While you have so many points in Insp, use Spirit of Failure inbetween blinds to gain back 5e a swing. Be sure not to give empathy or price of failure, that will just make them stop swinging all together and since they aren't going to hit anything, why not get the free energy. Then, with your remaining slots, get some anti-caster stuff. Once you have blinds and Spirit of Failure on a few guys, you should be able to cast to your hearts content with a full energy bar. I like spamming out Diversion.

Yeah cause if you don't come to W they will come to kill you... As you are a "soft" target. So no problems with movement, especially if you choose to bring Illusion of haste-Plague touch combo along....
I would also highly suggest to bring Plague sending instead of Plague touch, so you can transfer your cripple/blind conditions at range and potentially affect a group.
