Hulking Flame - Build
I tested new kind of build, called him Hulking Flame
That build comtains poweruf atacks, that can kill all enemies from one shot, but have big recharge
Elementalist/Monk
Energy storage: 15 ( 12+sup rune )
Fire Magic: 16 ( 12+fire eye+sup rune )
Prot magic: 3
Skills:
Meteor
Protective Spirit
Searing Heat
Meteor Shower
Maelstorm
Rodgort's Invocation
Elementalist Attunement(elite)
Rebirth ( Ressuraction Signet on arenas )
Weapons:
Better to wear Wand on fire skill recharge, and flame artefact on fire skill cast time and recharge
How to use:
Before going to batle use Element Attun, so your mana would not spend a much, for the first use meteor shower, so if enemies would not run in different ways they will take great damage and will be knocked down, then use searing heat to distract them, or if Warrior is near anyone of your party, use on that enemy, then use Rodgort's invocation - it will make to them great damage and set them on fire, if you see monk or any caster, use on him maelstorm, its not for damage, so you done need to spend attribute points on water magic, just to interrupt mages or others, use meteor, it will make great damage and knoch enemy down. If someone will stay alive, use Meteor or Rodgort to kill that enemy
There is only two problems - someone can take of Element Attun, so you will not have much mana, but you have enough mana anyway, so another problem is interrupter, i cant say anything abbout that, onlu searing heat or meteor shower.
Thats all, if you like that build - please write my nick - Great Hulkmaster and my clan - Wanderers of magic Power (WomP)
Thx a lot

This would be a terrible build in the arenas, unless you run into a team with no disruption. And without Reversal of Fortune, I would think.
While I like the Maelstrom trick in theory, the enemies don't stick around for it much in practice.
I suspect you might be happier with Glyph of Energy as your elite in this build.
And a question -- do you find Protective Spirit actually useful in that build?

hmmm, couldn't even read the whole thing...
all bold is much more difficult to read than normal text(similar to all caps in this respect) and will make most people stop reading to save themselves the trouble. It is a case of less is more when it comes to bold and caps.
Anyway, so I am not just lecturing on readablility
agree that it is terrible in the arenas, and I am not sure about PvE either...
What I don't like:
you are using
a 5 second cast, 25 energy, exhaustion casuing spell for damage (MS)
a 3 second cast, 25 energy, AoE flee triggering spell for damage (SH)
a 3 second cast, 25 energy spell for damage (RI)
a 3 second cast, 5 energy, exhastion causing spell for damage and KD (M)
AND
a 4 second cast, 25 energy, exhaustion causing, AoE flee triggering spell for *possible* interrupts
IF your ele attune gets stripped you are sitting on aome HUGE piles of exhaustion and energy use. Since you are actually using natural regen for energy using this many high cost spells with a removable attunement is a bad idea.
Your spells total 125 energy cost for a single use (not counting rebirth, which would end you). If you run this build my suggestion would be to keep that attunement up and if it gets stripped, well then you should run. Run for as long as it takes.
Oh, and IMO for an Ele running 15 in energy storage and natural regen to gain energy I would pick a different res. If you are in a party they will leave you behind if you insist on waiting for your energy to naturally regen after dumping it all on a rebirth. Use a res signet instead.

It's Elemental Attunement.
Ether Prodigy is better simply because if you strip it, it's not as damaging, and if you decide not to cast during that period, it's still okay.
And, if you can find an idiot who stands in a Meteor Shower, Searing Heat or a Maelstrom for the whole time I'm going to congratulate you for finding an ub3rzz target.

I wouldn't stick Ether Prodigy in a build with 3 exhaustion-causing spells already, I'd rather just puke kindly on this thread.

Kabale, don't do this to me, I'm really sorry for myself now. I need to eat and get something to puke with...
For the Ether Prodigy thing, I presume that the OP manages to convince himself that no halfwit will stand in the middle of a Maelstrom or a Meteor Shower.

It sucks. An attunement with no real cover enchant (rpot spirit too expensive to keep up all the time) and a bunch of DoT AoEs for damage. Utter trash in the arenas and barely acceptable in PvE.

I don't think Hulkmaster gets the point that we know more than him. Many elementalists were playing around with this kind of build in PvE, before the AoE update.

Just add a class called metallurgist that has like all kinds of interesting grenade type weapons that stun and slow so that you can get off big ele spells and the enemies caught in them are screwed for at least one of the spells.

While we're asking for things that don't exist-I'd like all enemies to instantly explode into giblets every time my elementalist casts a spell. I'd also like the UT announcer to yell "M-M-M-Monster Kill" when this happens.
Oh yeah, I'd also like a pony.

I find Cripshot ranger much better. I've tried using a nuker, and in all honesty, they suck.
