W/Me

16 hammer
9 inspiration
10 strength

Backbreaker {E}
Crushing Blow
Power Drain
Frenzy
Rush
Irresistable Blow
Bull's Strike
Resurrection Signet

This build is for spamming irresistable blow and bull's strike as much as possible, and using power leak as an interrupt and to refill your energy for more spamming. When backbreaker is charged, use it in conjunction with crushing blow and probably follow up with an IB for a nice spike.

W/x

16 hammer
10 strength
10 tactics

Devastating hammer {E}
Crushing blow
Irresistable blow
Hammer bash
Frenzy
Rush
Healing Signet
Resurrection Signet

This build is for doing KD chains. You build up your dev hammer and hammer bash, and use them on an enemy, preferably monk. If you're using frenzy, you can fit 2 attacks between dev hammer and hammer bash, and if not, you can fit one. Make sure crushing blow is one of the attacks between the two knockdowns. Irresistable blow is used for extra damage whenever you have extra energy to spare.

My ghetto hammer build - not very defensive, but lots of fun -- works fine for me in PvE storyline, but obviously not designed to tank UW, FoW, etc.

W/R
hammer - 16
wilderness survival 12
strenght - rest

troll ungent
distracting blow
irresistable blow
devastating hammer {E}
belly smash
mighty blow
heavy blow
for great justice or dryders def., depending on if I want offense or a little def.
I also throw counter blow in there occasionally, and sometimes crushing blow, too

I use Malinon's Skull Crusher.w

wow, has nobody actually tried protectors strike yet?
Its half-second swing time with instant trigger make it an amazing adrenaline engine, especially at a 3 second recharge and with bonus against kiters.

Frenzy
Rush
BackBreaker
Crushing Blow
Irresistible Blow
Bull's Strike
AfterShock
Rez

I don't like aftershock myself, too much energy, too long aftercast. a pure warrior hammer works very well, but if you wanna try w/e, i guess that build would do its damage nicely.

I would go 15 Hammer, 11 earth, and rest in strenght (like 9?)

Definetely not, but that's another thread.

KD/AS is fairly weak once you realize Irrestible Blow does more damage for half the energy, doesn't have a 1.75s aftercast, doesn't require you to spec into earth, and builds up your adrenaline.

Protector's Strike on a Hammer war is something to think about.

Ive been a hammer warrior the entire game, and after looking at these builds, the best one you should probably use is greedy gus' w/me. I've had many different builds, but i'll just post the one im using right now.

Backbreaker {E}
Mighty Blow
Irristable Blow
Hammer Bash
Berserker Stance or Frenzy
Rush
Endure Pain
Rez Sig or Plague Touch or Purge Conditions

Lately backbreaker has been my favourite elite. I first use berserker stance to charge my skill, or frenzy if your using it. Then i hit backbreaker+mighty blow+irristable blow. By this point he got a nice spike and will start running, you now use rush, hit him once, and hit hammer bash. Or, if you dont feel like using rush, hit hammer bash as soon as he gets up. Pretty much a 5 second knockdown.

W/R- Poison Pwnage Hammer Warrior
For Random/Team Arenas
Haven't tested it elseware.....

Backbreaker [E]
Irresistable blow
Mighty Blow
Bull's Strike
Sprint
Apply Poison
Troll Unguent
Res. Sig.

16 Hammer mastery
9 Wilderness Survival
Rest in Strength -- Forgot the number.... I'm at school.

Cast Apply poison at the beginning of the battle. You don't need the poison to last very long because for one thing... If you're concentrating on a target... You should be re-applying it every hit, and the opposing team's monk should be removing it anyways... Try to hit bull's strike whenever possible to build up adrenaline. When you have enough fr backbreaker... start the chain... It will do mounds of damage...
