Default Phoenix Q's

You find it in the last mission after beatign Shiro, a new place opens called Divine Path. There are armor, weapons and Phoenixs(es?). I dont wanna know that so dont post it.

1) What kind of damage do they do (peircing, blunt etc.)
2) Are their base stats the same as other pets? (i would think so)
3) Can they actually fly above a persons head, or just off the ground a foot or two?

Ty!

ps I thought this should go in the ranger forum, and have seen pet posts here, so i decided this would be the best place for it

1) Haven't gotten around to testing what kind of damage they do...
2) Yes stats are the same
3) They just hover about a foot or two of the ground

I have a Q myself, my apologies if the answer to this has been posted elsewhere, couldn't find the answer i was looking for in the search engine.

Anyways back to my question, its concerning the evolution of the Phoenix, i was wondering if its possible for the phoenix to evolve into the standard evolutions or is the pet similar to the black moa bird in that it doesnt evolve?

Yup. It starts at level 5, and all the standard pet evolutions apply.

I think the easiest way to figure out their damage is to fight those skel rangers outside bergen springs with a buddy with a wolf, spider and piggy (i think theyre blunt? or slashing... ) Then compare the phoenix

Easier than that....

Get a buddy to make a PvP Assassin character using the +armor vs slashing/blunt/piercing armors and then do a 1vs1 scrimage in the guild hall. Perfectly controled enviroment, easily compared results, near perfect conclusions.
