Captain Greywind (Ascalon Settlement) has this to buy. Not sure which quest will give it to you though. This skill costs too much energy if you're a warrior, unless you have gladiator's armor though.

this is great for anone who wants to poison spam.as a r/w this helps a lot. cast this, then shoot the enemy a little with your bow. by now they're poisoned and w/e other conditions u put on em. then when u get close pull out your sword/axe/hammer and kill away. good for PvP and PvE.

I love apply poison with my ranger, but a thought just popped into my head... can you apply poison on a hammer? Rangers use bows that do piercing damage, so the poison is introduced into the body when the arrow pierces the flesh... same thing with swords and axes, which do slashing damage and piercing damage, respectively... but a hammer does blunt damage, which does not allow the poison to enter the body. When a hammer slams into somebody with poison all over the head, all it does is smear the poison over the guy's armor. I'm probably taking this too literally...

conditions stack so bleeding + poison = fun :P reapplying a condition while its still in effect will cause it to lengthen in time example my AP says it poisons for 2 seconds if i hit my target again in those 2 seconds the condition timer will be reset to 2 seconds

7 pips. This is one of the reasons I like Apply Posion over Posion Arrows. If you tag someone with a Hunter's Shot while they are moving, it's a quick 7 degen from a single shot.

plus the (2-3 seconds? never paid attention to cast time) it takes to "apply" the poison, thats slower then hunters then poison arrow

You have to buy it.
Non-main city trainers will always have about 5 skills or so, and those skills will always be non-questable. Those trainer's skills usually show up later in a main city skill trainer, along with other skills that were questable at about the same time.

off the track - is there a list of skills that you can obtain thru quests? I've found a list of skills but you have to click on each skill to see if it can be obtained thru quest which is a PITA.
