Default Ritualist spike

One thing I found you can do for a massive amount of damage is to mix the skills Destruction, Draw Spirt, Rupture Soul, and you can add Spirit Rift if you want to.

Basically you set up a Destruction Spirit a little ways away from a fight to let it cook. When your recast timer on Destruction is up, you need to use Draw spirt to bring the Destruction Spirt in a range where he will be useful. You then use Rupture Soul when an enemy is around the spirit. Rupture Soul will deal about 100+ damage if you have a decent amount in Spawning Power and the Destruction can do another 100. If you are quick you can even add a Spirit Rift before blowing up the destruction.

Now this isn't the most practical, but it is fun to see how much damage you can do in a second or two.

Does this work well in PVE or PVP?

Kind of strange but in theory you can put Dis down, pick up some damaging ashes, and then go in, Draw/Rapture the spirit and drop the ashes.

Death Nova is an Enchantment and will not work on Spirits like Destruction... So... we'll have to bring more fun in a different way

Oh damn. I could have sworn I used to be able to put death novas on my old ranger spirits but that was quite awhile ago. I just started playing again so I guess some things have changed. Anyways, I'm getting offtopic so I'll stop. Nice combo though OP.

I've been using a build around Destruction and Rupture since the first FPE. It works awesome in Random, and so far in 12v12. You gotta be pretty suicidal to use it, but it's very effective, and leaves foes blinded for 10 seconds.

I always tell my monks to run for the Destruction if W's and A's give them too much trouble.
