NPCs and towns are closed to you unless you are a "friend" of that side, meaning I would have to get 10k Luxon faction and degenerate my Kurzick standing in order to even get to this skill.

It's an annoyance, that's all.

I am not going to collect a bunch of Luxon faction to go in their areas. If you are gonna draw a big ass red line down the middle of your map and make players choose sides, then both sides need to have the same captures available.

I'm pretty sure you can make it there without wasting faction. I've made it to both House Zu and Cavalon and I've yet to acquire 10k Luxon faction. My alliance is Luxon.

It's just aggravating because I'll have to run with pugs (or henchies) to get on that side of the map as the XoO members are playing Kurzick. It's an annoyance that could be avoided by having captures in Faction-specific areas be duplicated on both sides of the line.

For healing,Word of Healing.for protection sheild of deflection.for smiting shield of judgement.I have yet to try some of the new elites although in FPE I did try out life sheath and liked it.

For healing, word of healing. I don't like healing hands so much, because it only heals for around 30ish, if someone is in trouble they will be taking more damage than that. Shielding hands can reduce the damage by about 20 for the same price and recharge, but it doesn't use an elite slot. It can be fun for earlier missions, but even in a Krytan mission I tried it on, people's health still went down after casting it on them, only by less than before.

For protection, mark of protection, even though the recharge is so high.

For smiting, shield of judgement of course (ahh casting it on the warrior who has all aggro and seeing everyone fall over again and again, I love it).

Man, I totally aggree with you. I have to get 10,000 kurzick now just to cap 2 elite skills. Its really stupid. Now I have to do several Kurzick missions and fight through their territory even though I've already been through luxon

i guess im an outcast when i say boon sig.... it works for about any build.... empathetic removal isnt too bad either.

boon sig at 14 divine favor-1 second cast, 5 second recharge
heal 35, gain 2 energy for each enchant on target ally.... max 6 energy

empathetic removal- cast1 second, 5 energy, 10 second recharge
remove one condition and hex from target other ally and yourself

My favourite Monk Elite is Word Of Healing.

If we go by Prayers, then:
Divine Favour - Aura Of Faith (only because Spellbreaker takes too long to recharge

)
Healing - Word Of Healing
Protection - Shield Of Regeneration
Smiting - Shield Of Judgement

I don't have Factions yet, so I don't know anything about the new elites.

I suppose you are talking about some of the new elites in factions?Does this mean you have to cross boudries to cap an elite say on Kurzick side or Luxon if so what us the point of it all as they should be on both sides.

I must go with Oofering of Blood, i know it is not a monk elite but it is the perfect elite if i go prot or heal in PvE in PvP i use MoR

I am in a Kurzick guild, and have much more Kurzick faction than Luxon. I can still easily go to Cavalon, and no-one stops me. The trader NPCs don't talk to me, but that is it. If you couldn't, it would be ridiculous, because you couldn't get there to earn the faction.

I think you may have to earn enough Luxon faction if you want to get to the areas after Gyala, but I believe that all elites after that point are duplicated in the areas after Eternal Grove (as suggested in the update notes).

My favourite elite is either Shield of Judgement (and unlike other uses of it, I don't use it to farm - I use it as a nice protective spell, especially on an AS ele, or follow up with Holy Strike), or Life Sheath (being able to stop the health bar dropping is a great help for teh heal monk, plus it's cheap and has a low recharge)
