those 2 are permanent on my bar no debates.
2ndary is absolutely open as I rarely see a need for any other classes skills. I can find a better version in a necro line generally. So for the rest Im just gonna assume N/x and irrelevant.
Death 12 +1 +3 No brainer.
Soul Reaping 10 +1(Minor) and +3(Superior) to swap
Blood 8+1(Minor)
Elite is dependant on what your team needs. You can bring your Flesh Golem. You can provide BiP service. You can run Aura of the Lich if you choose.
Thats 3 slots, add your rez and there is half your bar. Now you look at options.
1. Dark Bond - 75% damage reduction. Come on this alone more than health mods allows you to run low health. Its an enchant so cover etc. is needed.
2. Animate Bone Minion - If a 2nd minion is needed(somewhere you have to fight for bodies etc) I recommend this one. Cheaper for always available cast.
3. Infuse Condition - You wont have a 50 pet army and your capped at 10. From what Im seeing they kill off the lowest hp minion when you raise an 11th. This covers DB nicely and helps protect your precious life =]..bye bye degen.
4. Blood Renewal - Only +5 regen unless you swap on another Sup Blood Rune also. With my HP fluxuating around the 380 mark its pretty easy regen to fuel sacing for BotM. Knowing when it ends can almost totally heal you lets you spam BotM quickly to cap off your pets before moving out. You dont really need it if you have a healer along but BR > Healing Breeze or Heal Area. This IMO is better use of your atts and available skills.
5. Bitter Chill/Deathly Swarm if you need to have damage between rezs or you can go with just Fiends only and have room.
6. Cap Sigs or others. If your in Cantha(or just after Desert in Tyria) then keep a Cap on your Bar.
My bar lately is
Animate Bone Fiend/ Animate Flesh Golem/ Blood of the Master/ Dark Bond/ Infuse Condition/ Deathly Swarm/ Cap/ Rez
and I use 4 other henchies running around Silent Surf mopping it up.
Granted I cant go to a zone kill one animal and carefully kill a 3 mob group and then start to steamroll a zone solo. I cant have 3 guildies come and just get me to 10 anymore as 10 pets alone isnt enough to quite pwn groups anymore like the old days. I still see 3-5 man groups with a good MM pwning.

Here's the problem with using animate bone fiend. Fiends cost 25. When you have VHorrors (25 cost) as well, you have some high ticket minions. That's why I either use VHorrors or Fiends, but never a mix. Otherwise it takes forever to build up minions.
The reason for using Verata's Sacrifice is because in Cantha, you'll often end up with a 2nd MM. You don't want to be healing their minions. It's the break down of sacrificing 45% of your health every time. And honestly, I'd rather not have to sacrifice 45% of my health while travelling. I consider this based on hench healers who sometimes ignore near dead party members.

erm ppl.. why must you even bother modding out MM? it works great with plain old 16 death, 12 SR, 9 heal... thats what ive been running and... well ive had 0 prolbems, just spam BoTM, and Heal ARea, which heals you, and nearbye minions.. i like the build tho.. but i c no point in spreading out so much..mayb tell me if theres a reason this is a superior MM to a plain one

You can't spam Blood of the Master if you also have to worry about healing. You need your energy to recover, so spamming it like is necessary in some cases isn't very effective. That's why my builds are pure necro. Although I do have a dual MM Build that works very well.Will be posted later.
