Dagger and Water A/E
This build has some nice spam spells
skills:
Golden Phoenix Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Way of the Lotus
Heart of Shadow
Conjure Frost
Deep Freeze
Water Trident (Elite)
attributes: use what available but mostly invest in dagger mastery and Water Magic
okay, here it is
Cast Conjure Frost on yourself.
Cast Way of the Lotus on your opponent
use Phoenix Strike on your opponent
use Horns of the Ox, energy will be gained by WotL
use Falling Spider
since FS is off-hand, you can use HotO again
you'll get more energy, so you can use HotO and FS unill WotL ends
the conjure frost will add damage if you have cold daggers (which is almost required for this build)
you can use Deep Freeze to slow your opponent
spam Water Trident for damage and also a way for FS
i suggest using full shrouded for the energy
tell me what you think

Having to stick around at the target and wait for recycle times in order to do more damage seems....deadly. You will end up tanking and your not a tank, you have to get in unload your combo and get out, and you combo has to be tuned to the most damage possible while your at your target.

as you wait for Horns to recharge, you can spam Water trident if they run away, and pounce with daggers to gain energy back.
Horns doesnt have a crazy long recharge, but it is enough for monks to heal back the damage. So this is more of a gank build than a 1v1.
well thought out, im gonna give it a whirl

I agree with Conjure Frost, but I'm gonna have to say no to Deep Freeze... That's a 25 energy cost attack meant to slow *groups* of foes...You're better off using something like Shard Storm (10e) or something that costs less (Deep Freeze also has an exceptionally long casting time). Maybe try something like:
Trying to keep most of it the same:
Golden Phoenix Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider/Twisting Fangs
Way of the Lotus
Heart of Shadow/Shadow Refuge
Conjure Frost
Shard Storm/Ice Spikes (You want something that you can use mid-fight)
Water Trident (I love this skill)
I really hope that you give assassins a better name with this thing (I'm getting sick of seeing the FotM builds that use Shock instead of Signet of Shadows and are calling it original).
Good Luck!
EDIT: I found you a spell: Ice Prison (for 8-18 seconds, target foe's legs are encased in ice, causing the foe to move 66% slower than normal. This spell ends if that foe takes fire damage.) Just don't hit the target with fire damage (and hope that you don't get a fire elly). It doesn't do damage, but the slow is longer, 10e, 30 sec recharge. It should be enough to use it 1-3 times per match and have it last long enough to kill the target.
