Prot Spirit/Breeze Recharge
Hi guys , I have just started out on the road of learning with a 55 monk, after first playing through prophecies with it, then graduating to SF bonder etc, i am just learning the trade but i have noticed when mobbed in the troll cave, my recharge on the Prot Spirit and Healing Breeze becomes lethargic sometimes over ten seconds, leading to immediate death and puzzlement on my part.
Am i doing something wrong somewhere? I have followed the advice given in the excellent guides to 55 by Cerb and Tsunami Rain, and am at a loss as to why it happens , any pointers would be appreciated, thnx.

reason they get long recharges is that the mountain trolls use disrupting chop and it it hits when u cast a spell its interupted and is disabled for 20 seconds
as to countering it, some ppl use bonneti's defense if u have warrior as secondary and some use mantra of resolve if u have mesmer secondary

As Cesar said, disrupting chop adds time to your recharge. If it hits your breeze...dont sweat it. Just spam protective spirit untill your breeze recharges. And yes, if you want to be safe, use bonetti's when casting breeze and always recast protective spirit.
--edit--
If you still need help with this and you are not understanding what I'm trying to say, just msg me ingame @ Tsunami Rain

just remember to wait after your last cast before hitting your next. i think disrupting chop is a 1.33 sec 'cast'... breeze is 1.00s and ps is 0.25s.

Thanks, that makes sense, besides that was my first hour on the build, when i posted, and having now played it remorselessly for the last 3 days i am now a lot more comfortable with the timings, and thier application, for example i was overcasting breeze and that was purely down to panic , as i have noticed under a certain number, mobs dont spike you enough to warrant casting it, so it nice to have in reserve, as opposed to spamming the hell out of it needlessly.I use bonettis defence as to me it seems the best energy renewal for the situations i find myself in, although i will try to examine blessed signet, but at the moment im having far too much fun to even bother
Thanks for the replies and ya help people
