Default Anyone else have a problem with Spirit Light Weapon?

I recently caped this skill and was using it but I noticed it ran off much faster than the 10 seconds it said it should have lasted. The description said it should only wear off if out of range of a spirit. I found it wearing off much faster when I casted it on other people in my party and I can not figure out why. Anyone else got problems liek this or mabey why it wears off? I do not replace it with another weapon skill either.

Perhaps they just stepped outside of the 'area' of a spirit? I did some experiments with henchies using this skill. I found that it has a range more akin to 'adjacent' allies than allies who are in the area.

Still, it is a poor excuse for an elite in it's current guise:

-The healing is over time (only 160 hp total over 10 seconds at 16 restoration).

-It is easily out-healed by other, non-elite healing spells.

-It restricts movement (please don't kite! What?).

- Most important of all, it stops you from using other Weapon spells on said target.

I'd imagine the main purpose of this skill would be to beat degen right? As in if your intention is to just heal, then 2 Mend Body & souls doe's far more than this, and can be spammed every 3 seconds without fail, thanks to the fast 3/4 second cast. If that is the case, Resilient weapon would fair far better. It's twice the cost, but it's not an elite, recharges quicker (more allies can benefit), offers, at 16, +6 regen for 21 seconds and gives +24 armour!
I may sound like a salesman, but that is fantastic deal .

I think it is a crummy elite but It just seemed like even when in the area of spirits it wore off for no reason.
