Armor suggestions...?
Trying to build my way to a Bonding and/or Protection monk, I wonder what the consensus out there is on preferred or recommended armor types there were out there. Right now, I have Shing Jea Judge's Vestments and Pants, mainly for the +10 vs. physical attacks. I am working toward gaining Ascetic's Arm and Leg (or whatever else isn't covered), for the energy boost. I did see that Acolyte's armor gives +10 while enchanted, and wondered if this would be preferred, considering that one would always have their monk enchanted with at least Balthazar's Spirit. This would also cover spell damage where Judge's would not, correct?
I'm sure I will end up getting different types for different builds, zones, situations. Anyone have some good suggestions on this?
I also dyed it pink, btw. I do have to say that I really love the Kurzick's ascended monk armor looks fricken sweet.

For my monk I have only 2 sets of armor. I use the tattoo's and the armor +10 while enchanted if Im boon prot. Or just depends on my mood. :P

Any mixing and matching, or just tattoos or just by one set of armor?

Probably little mixing in the way of the non-boon prot. As it won't be enchanted often, though i'm not sure on his boon prot. I doubt it mixes, much if at all.

If your running bonder or a prot I reccomend the +10(enchant) armor. Since you will usually be enchanted, also for weapons I go with a +5 armor sword/axe and a +5 armor(enchant) offhand.
80AL while enchanted isnt to bad. I think it's a big help against all the iway teams in HA.

If you're going to be always enchanted (ie. boon prot) use acolytes(+armor while enchanted) on your chest and legs, since most of your hits will be there. You should always use ascetic (tatoos) on your feet and hands, since you rarely get hit there. If you're not going to be enchanted all the time, use either judges (+armor vs physical) or full ascetic. I recommend full ascetic for PvE since you can stay in the backline fairly easily, and won't take much damage.

If you can't afford Judges get Censor's and if it is female use a judges/censors top with ascetics and if it is a male use judges or cencor pants with ascetics.

It's always better to have the +armor on your chest than your legs, regardless of how it looks. You get hit most on your chest, then legs, and least often on hands and feet.
Even though it may look better to have just judges on your pants, it's making you more vulnerable.
