Port Sledge Chest Run
Hey guys, only been doing this for about two runs (lol) but I have been chest running the Shiverpeaks for quite awhile. In the past few runs I have gotten:
20/19 Longbow
20/19 Longsword
20% Enchant Sword, with 20% while hexed mod.
Now, there are quite a few purple drops as well, but this has been a pretty profitable enterprise so far. Map of the run (and skills):
and link for those who can't see: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...geChestRun.jpg
Good luck, and happy treasure hunting
UPDATE: Expect alot or purples too. Don't get discouraged after only a run or two. Also, just got a 15% Stance Icy longbow of Fortitude (29). Wondering, should I salvage for the mod or try to sell? (13 req, so I'm not sure anybody would buy it)

Three keys per run is enough. Also, there seems to be near unconditional spawns near the North-East corner. I have yet to go a run with no chest spawn.

I haven't found very reliable places to chest run in Cantha. I'll post if I see them, but methinks 'tis unlikely.

Smite Hex is really terrible to use for hex removal. You should look through the monk skills again and find something that works better...Sorry I know that's vague, but I'm pretty sure you can figure it out as it's not rocket science.

Smite Hex and Holy Veil are not really needed, only for when you have to aggro the water ele boss to open a chest. Smite Hex is actually the best skill for hex removal in runners, not necessarily so for partying. Having a one second cast prevents interupts, which remove hex is especially prone to. Mend Ailment is not required.

Yah, its not that hard of a run. Just putting it out there for people that don't know about it. Oh, btw, I had a run with three perfect caster golds but that's quite rare.

As long as you don't run up to a Grawl Crone.

Had more golds, but salvaged for mods etc. Too many purples to count. (including a 14>50 righteous maul. weird.)
